Joran Van Der Sloot’s Insincere Body Language During Courtoom Confession Lands His 28 Years In Prison

We see a very different looking Joran Van der slot when he was first  arrested and frightened after being arrested for killing Stephanie Flores in Peru and paraded around.  Then we saw a wide eyed frightened Joran. Today we see a heavier and more cocky Joran. The cocked head to the side and the tight lipped appearance indicate his insincerity.

His shoulder shrugs as you can see int his photo when he spoke the words  Yes I want to plead guilty. I wanted  from the first moment to confess sincerely. As he states these words you can see many signals of deception. The statement analysis indicates deception as well based on the words he chose. It is not true that Joran wanted to plead guilty from the first moment to confess.He was adamant from the beginning that he was innocent and then claimed he was coerced into a confession by the Peruvian authorities. Also the word sincerely is also significant as there eis nothing sincere about his confession.

Also the repetition of  the  word  ”wanted” speaks to yet another issue- his seeing himself as a victim in all of this. In essence he says that he wanted to do so at the beginning but no one would let him. We clearly know that this is not so based on reports of his actions early on during his arrest and subsequent incarceration.

His monotone voice along with his cocked head belie his words as he continues to say  I am truly sorry for this bad act. He shrugs his shoulders looks up,  away from the three judges  as he cocks his head. Not only does he shrug his shoulder, he keeps it in the same raised position which indicates that he is literally giving the “cold shoulder” to match his cold monotoned voice pattern.

His words indicate the opposite based on his body language behaviors. He is not sorry at all and does not consider this a bad act. he has no feeling and no remorse  whatsoever and it shows.

Then he immediately switches up the words and says  I am truly sorry for this act. I feel bad. The fact that he repeats his apology as he alters the word order confirms that he is lying about feeling sorry for his “bad act”.

But now he is actually showing signals of honesty when he makes this latest statement. He now focuses his eyes back on the judges as he l looks directly at them as he now bows his head in sorrow. Yes he is sorry, but NOT for killing Stephanie Flores. He is sorry for getting caught . In fact he is truly sorry he got caught. Now he does not call it a bad act as he did initially. Now he simply calls it an act .In essence he is saying that he is sorry he was caught for his act of killing Stephanie Flores which he does not consider  bad , but merely an act.

Then he says I feel very bad. This is true based on his body language. He feels very bad because he was caught doing this act that he did not consider bad. Note how the  position of the words  bad and act have changed in his statement. It is not longer a bad act. Now he feels bad he was caught in the act.

He is still nervous and anxious as she shows signs of this rocking back and forth freighting movements which his legs constantly moving as he sat and waited to speak,  through his profuse sweating  and itching as you can see int he photo above.

However he cannot help but leak out his arrogance and self righteousness through his erect posture and raised shoulder literally giving the judges a cold shoulder via his insincere confession . He does however feel vulnerable as you can see  by his hands clasped over his private area. While he believe he was justified in what he did to Stephanie and feels forced to confess for the reward to a lighter sentence, he is still nervous and frightened by what the sentence will be. Also if you look at the muscle tension of his hands as he clasps them over his groin area you can see that he is indeed exhibiting a lot of nervousness and tension as he is holding on to himself for dear life.

Another change in Joran is that there is a lot of puffiness under his eyes which may indicate he is not getting a lot of sleep in prison and/ or possibly doing drugs. It has been said that for the right amount of money one can get just about  anything in this prison.

Joran’s legal defense was that he had Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome from the Natalie Holloway incident because  he was hounded by the press for her alleged killing. Perhaps this was the best defense that his attorney could come up with because there was certainly no other defense as to why Joran would kill a lovely Peruvian girl with a bright future ahead of her.  This lame defense got him two years less than the maximum 30 years he would have received had he not confessed.

As we see from Joran’s photos, prison life has not been good to him. He looks bad and as he lingers in prison for the next  close to three decades, he will look even worse and prison life will be worse to him. Based on his actions during  his court proceedings he knows this as well.

His slovenly appearance shows that he did not care how he looked or came across. He may have been told by his attorney that his confession would result in less prison time. because of his arrogance he may have interpreted this less prison time to be  only a a few years. That would explain why he was visibly angry when the judge ordered him to 28 years in prison. He was reported to have  cursed  out loud as she was also ordered to  pay $75,000 in reparations.

But Under Peru’s laws, however, van der Sloot could get out after serving half of his sentence. This means the 24 year old  could be out when he is 38. That means he would have a long life ahead of him to live freely. With book, film and TV interviews he could be a very wealthy man, continue his gambling lifestyle and life like nothing ever happened.

But that will not be the case if the US has anything to do about it. He may be extradited to the US for extortion in the Natalie Holloway case.  If found guilty, he would be put away for more time and serve it in the US.

It is unclear  to date whether Joran will stay at Castro Castro prison where he has been isolated from the other prisoners or whether now that he has been sentenced, he  will be among the general population there. it is unclear as to whether he will be transferred to a more harsher prison in Peru and placed int he general population.

If placed the general population Joran will be a walking dead man as there is fierce loyalty even among prisoners when it comes to a national hero- Stephanie Flores’ father.If another prisoner does not kill him, disease such as TB and AIDS may do it, thus making it doubtful that we will see Joran on the streets of Aruba, the Netherlands or any other place int he world.

If by some fluke of nature he does come out of prison alive at age 38, he will no doubt suffer the same fate as OJ and so many others where they commit  another bad act to land themselves in prison for life.

While nothing can bring back Stephanie Flores, justice was  finally served as she can now rest in peace. Let’s hope the same justice can be served for Natalie Holloway so she too can rest in peace and so her loving mother Beth can also have some peace.

Casey Anthony’s Second Video Focus IS On Her Appearance Not Caylee

In the second video that has just been released on Casey Anthony, we no longer see a blond Casey with a  hair style and color resembling her mother Cindy. Now we see her in a a short  brunette cropped hair do.  The glasses she is now sporting are very oversized as opposed to the last video and look rather comical on her face. Also if Casey was in such need of glasses, why wasn’t she wearing them in the courtroom where she really needed to see things closely and read materials.The glasses obviously seem to be put on for effect.

Casey  still does not mention Caylee , just as she did not mention her in her previous video. In her first video she was concerned where to look . But now she seems to have the hang of it as she is looking directly at herself on video ,where she can examine her newly pieced nose ring and ear piercing at the top of her ear.

While she says he is very excited about her piercings by stating “I just pierced my nose last night, very excited and top of my ear” you would never know she was excited in any way until she spoke those words. Her voice says the opposite. It is in a  dull emotionless uninflected monotone.

Casey also begins the new video with a higher pitched baby girl like voice which is very interesting on so many levels. In essence,  the little girl voice may reflect how she feels about herself subconsciously, especially now that Caylee is no longer a part of her life. Now she can be the little girl- the youngest in the family like she has always been. Now she can resume her role as the baby girl- not Caylee.

The fact that there is no mention of Caylee in a video she knows will eventually be released publicly,  speaks volumes.It is as though she has blocked everything out and is now focusing on herself and her looks and her new image.

The fact that she has changed up her hair style and he glasses and donned a nose and ear piercing in such a short period of time in my view means she is struggling with her image. She is trying to find out who she is now and trying on different images. She clearly got rid of the super long hair courtroom do and now is trying different looks.

It was reported on TMZ that she now dons red hair but this is not evident in this video. If she is trying on various looks in an attempt to disguise herself when she finally is free to go out and about publicly, it is not too smart on her part to be releasing these videos of herself.

Casey has changed a lot physically. For one she has filled out more and become “thicker”.  Perhaps the food at the halfway house or mental health facility where she is staying has a lot better and more appealing food choices than jail, so perhaps her appetite has improved.

This shows in her nose ,which has also become thicker  and more bulbous, thereby making her appearance resemble Cindy more and more.

The one thing which is interesting about this second video is that she cannot stop looking at herself. In essence, she does not take her eyes off of he screen for a moment as he focus is completely on her.

I have no idea if Casey is releasing these videos and photos herself or these are being released by others on her behalf.  But the bottom line is that whomever is releasing them has received a lot of hits which translates into a lot of dollars and cents for them and most likely for  Casey as well.

The fact that these tapes have become such a topic of interest in the media reflects that Casey has become a bonafide celebrity known for her infamy of allegedly killing her child.

In watching these video posts of Casey, the real live reality show of Casey Anthony continues as it did during her courtroom proceedings. The whole thing is so absurd. Her craving public attention will eventually catch up to her in my view.

After what happened to Caylee and all the public  hatred towards her she needed to lay low and try to live under the radar in my view. She needed to reinvent herself not with a nose ring or ear piercing or different hair color but with a solid education and some serious mental health therapy on an ongoing basis. I cannot imagine any therapist condoning these videos to be released.

But as we see Casey cannot help herself and would most likely not heed any advice from anyone let alone a therapist. She craves the attention too much as we are seeing . She craves the limelight and that will in my view eventually  be her downfall. These videos show how much she is focused on  herself and how much  she craves attention. We all heard it and saw it in the  jailhouse tapes but now that she is out of jail, we see it again.

When people crave that much attention, they will do anything to get that attention. They will often  subconsciously make bad decisions in order to get themselves the attention they need. Casey has had a history of making bad decisions so why should anything change now. It takes a lot of therapy and self insight – not self absorption to make significant changes in one’s psyche and in one’s behaviors. So it is highly possible that she will eventually trip herself up and end up like OJ Simpson.

There are  a lot of similarities between Casey and OJ in terms of how much they were focused on themselves and on the attention from others.OJ  was constantly getting in to trouble and having all kinds of high drama situations throughout the years until he eventually ended up where he belonged – inprison for the rest of his life. Since Casey too craves this attention we may see a similar pattern down he road.

Her parents released a statement after the first video that they worry for her safety and that the release of this video was not a good idea. In my view, they need to worry about their own safety  as well when Casey is finally free . They need to hope she stays far away from them as possible because no doubt some of that high drama will result due to the dysfunctional dynamics of this family structure. It is a fact that there has been severe conflict between Casey and Cindy for years. Now that Casey has had some independence and has been away for Cindy for so long it could get very ugly  between them if  Cindy tried to take control or bully Casey.

There are so many mixed emotions with regard to this family. The smallest disagreement could inflame things and create a disaster.  Casey may feel betrayed by Lee’s testimony in the courtroom. Her father may never forgive her for allowing him to be thrown under the bus and having the sexual molestation card revealed in court. There is a lot of resentment and anger towards Casey by her family  and unless they all underwent family therapy it is my view that things could escalate in a very bad way.

I still believe that these tapes are being released because producer  Scott Sternberg’s despicable efforts at selling an interview with Casey   for 3/4 of a million dollars  failed. So now Plan B is in place with the release of these tapes. The timing is uncanny, especially if Casey will be released from her facility next month.

In watching these tapes it was so upsetting to see how Casey was so focused on her new piercings and to  hearing the word “excited” come out of her mouth. Poor Caylee may she rest in peace,  will never  have the chance to experience excitement about anything.

Groom’s Body Language During Wedding Before Committing Suicide Says It All

Fernando Brazier , 28 committed suicide just a few hours after his marriage ceremony to the mother of his two children Trudian Hay.

This photo of the two of them walking down the isle is haunting. Look at Fernando’s body language. He is stiff. He leans away from his bride. There is no smile on his face. He is wide-eyed and there appears to be an enormous amount of tension around his mouth and shoulder area a he awkwardly hold his bride’ hand. He does not look like a man who is happily in love or happy to be married.

Trudian Hay, who is also the mother of his two young daughters has no clue what he was about to do a few hours later.In contrast, she appears to be elated and in a world of her own. She is laughing. Her head and body  is turned away from Fernando as she  has no clue that he  looks extremely uncomfortable, upset  and  almost on a state of shock as he completed  saying his vows and walked down the isle.

No one seemed to notice Fernando’s misery as he and the bride kissed as they all looked on , sharing in what they thought was the couple’s mutual joy. If you look closely at their post marital kiss he is stiff and non responsive.

It is Trudian who appears to be more dominant in reaching up to kiss him as indicated by the way she is straining and elongating her neck. He doesn’t bend down to meet her kiss. He is ridged  in his posture and there appears to be no joy expressed in his face. It is the complete opposite facial expression that his bride has on her face.

Trudian leans into fernando but he looks pained . he looks as though he is about to cry- and not from happiness. He looks terribly sad as he shows no affection and does not reciprocate the leaning in towards Trudian. His shoulders are slouched and he looks severely depressed.

Apparently Fernando was so upset over feeling forced into getting married by Tudian , according to his sister, Shawna Weeks that hejumped into the Harlem River  and ended his life.

According to his sister, Fernando came to her home every week after work to talk about his concerns – and stated his eyes were eyes “blood shot” and in a state of despair. She said he shared with her that he and Trudia “had nothing in common and .”That’s why they postponed the wedding a year ago. He was being pressured into it.”

And that  Tudia was a to be a “great person,” but “just not for him.”

HE  WENT THROUGH WITH THE MARRIAGE

But  unwillingly he went through with the wedding anyway.Perhps he didn’t know how to say no to Trudia, that he didn’t want to marry her. Perhaps the fact that he reportedly dated her since they were teenagers made it more difficult to break it to her that he didn’t want to spend the rest of his life with her. Maybe he felt obligated  to go ahead with it because they had a two and a five year old together. Maybe he didn’t want to upset their families who knew one another for so many years.

But Fernando’s tragic act has now ended up hurting EVERYONE- his bride, his family, her family, their friends and most of all their babies who now have to grow up fatherless.

He was  clearly depressed. His sister confirmed it. He reached out to his her but unfortunately he wasn’t equipped to say No. He took the cowardly way out  in my view. He did a very TOXIC and  passive aggressive act. He went ahead and married and gave Trudian what she wanted but then he in essence said, I’ll show you, I’ll marry you but that’s it. There is no living happily every after with us.

LESSONS TO BE LEARNED

This tragedy upsets me on so many levels. It upsets me that poor Fernando didn’t see a professional who could have saved his life by either giving him needed medication or by teaching him how to stick up for himself and his needs and say NO to the marriage.

It upsets me that Trudian will  now be traumatized for the rest of her life as will her children.

All Trudian  most likely  wanted was happiness and the dream of having her man. Who knows if she gave him ultimatums like so many women and men unfortunately do-  marry me or you won’t see the kids or marry me  or……. (fill in the blank).

I don’t know if Trudia did this but Fernando; sister seemed to imply that she as the one who pressed him into marriage. If that is the case it upsets me on yet another level.

For decades , there have been  books written on how to get your man to marry you. SO many of them are filled with techniques of how to manipulate your man to get them to marry you  ( they can apply to gettingyour woman to marry you as well). I have always been in opposition to these books and the authors who write them .

While you may very well get someone to marry you by following their cookbook approach. But will you get that person to stay married to you? The answer is a resounding NOOOO!

Fernando’s story  is one  tragic way out but there are others- from violence to abuse to living separate lives to cheating to being miserable.

If one of the parties does not want to marry you, you can’t manipulate or force them. It HAS to be mutual or chances are it won’t end well. You can’t clap with one hand and you can’t marry with one partner being all for it an the other one being unwilling.

I am sure there are stories out there of the reluctant bride or groom who ended up being married for 50 years But were they happily married?  Most likely they were not and for whatever reason the reluctant bride or groom adapted.

The bottom line is that you can’t manipulate for force anyone to do anything- especially marry you or it might end up like Fernando and Trudian’s tragic story. And most important of all JUST SAY NOOOOO if you feel something isn’t  right and TALK to a professional. If Fernando did this he may have been alive today.

Guilt and Deception in Jerry Sandusky’s Voice During Bob Costa Interview

Bob Costas asked Jerry Sandusky if he ever touched the genitals of any boy. As Sandusky replied  that he didn’t,   his voice quality sounded shaky and tentative.

Then Costas said if this is not so,  then you must be the unluckiest man and most persecuted man we have ever heard of.

Jerry pauses for several seconds and then chuckles. This reaction is contrary to anyone who was not guilty. An innocent person  would immediately jump in with no pause time ans say YES, I AM,  using a very formidable  and unwavering tone.

Costas then says it again and Sandusky pasues for five seconds and chuckles a nervous laugh and  immediately releases a burst of air. Needless to say this question has taken literally taken the wind or the air out of him as you literally hear it in the audio.

Then Sandusky says in a weak tone, “ I don’t know what you want me to say WHAT????? Want you to say????  This is a signal of guilt. He is now depending on what others want him to say and does not relay what he needs to say. In essence he    nothing  to say except that he is guilty.

You can believe that his attorney is helping him to spin what to say. Also why is this man doing interviews if he has an attorney? Is he defying his attorney? Is he defying his attorney? What kind of attorney wiuld allow his client to speak out at this point?

Sandusky’s voice quality and speech behaviors alone are incriminating him in my view.

Then he says  I don’t think theses have been the best days of my life as he burst out air . This air  burst indicates that he is having a hard time coordinating his breathing with his talking which is a HUGE indicator of nervousness and deception. His statement also minimizes the serious of what is happening to him which indicates that he is in the initial shock phases and in a state of denial.

Costas then asks him a great question. Costas asks  how would you define the part you played?  What are you willing to concede  that was wrong and   and you wish you hadn’t done it?

Sandusky once again takes a gulp of audible air indicating that this question has once agin knocked the wind out fo him. He then practically wispers and mumbles his answer , which is an  indicator guilt and shame . He says   I  I  should have   (long pause) showered with those kids. The telling part here vocally speaking is that he goes up at the end of the sentence on the words  kids as though he was asking a question.  The empahasis on the world kids means  that deep down he really didn’t think it was wrong to shower with those kids. It’s only wong because he got busted.Also the hesitation is a signal of extreme distress.

Then he mumbles a guilty sounding you know so . In essence , he is trying to minimize his actions and seeking reassurance with the wordsyou know . He ends his statement on the word so because he has nothing else to say .

Here is the give away “tell” or signal  that says it all.  Costas asks him if he is a pedophile. Sandusky  immediately replies  No! Then Costs rephrases the question ands says Are you sexually attracted to young boys? Just so you are aware, this is how sociopaths often respond to questions. You may ask them a direct question and get a completely different answer than when you rephrase the question.  Sandusky also  parrots the question and repeats Am I sexually attracted to young boys?

When someone answers a question with a question or repeats your question, they are  usually GUILTY!!! That is one of the biggest tells of deception.

Then Sandusky further inceiminates himself verbally by  contimuing on and saying  sexually attracted.  I I enjoy young people.’

His repetion of the words sexually attracted thrown out there  without a pronoun or a verb speaks volumes, Singling these two words out as a phrase in itself ndicates that  he very well may be  sexually attracted to them.

Then he says I I love to be around them . But no I’m not sexually attracted to young boys. He dies off at the end of his statement which is very significant in my view. As he in essence is swallowing his words and swallowing the truth. Note how he calls young boys them . It illustrates how he has objectified his victims.

Jerry Sandusky shows us that no matter who a person is or what their position is, it in possible to find pedophiles in any walk of life  and in any socioeconomic group or social strata. Even pillars of society who do charity work can be sexual deviants. We need to stop playing The Emperor Has New Clothes when he in fact is not wearing any. We need to see what is,  not what we want to see. As soon as we see this behavior we need to make sure the person is held accountable for their actions.

There is no question in my mind that he is acting like a person who has a lot of guilt , shame, and embarrassment  at being exposed and who most likely is guilty.

After reading the Grand Jury transcript I felt like throwing up. This is an extremely deviant and sick man.  True they are just allegations and he has not yet been found guilty by a court of law at this time. But in reading these allegations , it appears that they all have a pattern to them that is both shocking and sickening. He is either wrestling, showering,  or cracking some young boy’s back. Like most predators he has followed a similar ritual in abusing  his victims.

There is no rehabilitation for a pedophile because they are imprinted with this sexual perversion forever.He needs to be locked up forever with no possibility of parole. He has essentially  murdered the souls and the psyches of these young boys, many who have now grown  into  young  men.

All the millions of dollars he has earned during his coaching years needs to go for psychological treatment for these boys because after he got his hands on them, they were never the same. What makes matters even worse is that he took full advantage of young boys who were troubled and/or disadvantaged. That makes his crime even more egregious.

I say lock him up and throw away the key and make him do some hard labor in prison instead of  his sitting around doing nothing on the taxpayers money. I say get as much use out of him, whether it be  making license plates or some other item that is made in prisons.

He needs to be released into the general population so he can see what it feels like to be helpless and victimized. No doubt  if this is the case, he will not  survive long which may actually  be a blessing to all.

Dr. Lillian Glass Weighs In On the Baby Lisa Case

So many of my precious readers have emailed me and asked me my thoughts on the body language of  Baby Lisa’s parents.After analyzing the Anthony case in such great detail only to see a child killer ( intentional or not) go free and watch the killer’s repulsive  parents exploit the media and  make millions off of a dead baby, the last thing I wanted to do was to get involved in yet another story of a disturbed mother and her missing child.

The Anthony case was upsetting in so many ways, from

  1. the judge;
  2. to the jury;
  3. to the unlikeable and arrogant male  prosecutor,
  4. to a  certain member of the media who sensationalized the case as “entertainment” with her dramatic  ”bombshells’  in her   career move as she nauseatingly “kissed up” to Cindy Anthony claiming she  identified with Cindy as  a “mother” when perhaps her actual  motive was to “dance” around Cindy in hopes she would appear her show;  to watching her try to redeem all the negative public  backlash against her result of this case  by embarrassingly dancing her way with the stars;
  5.  to watching the Anthony’s continue to manipulate and deceive both  on and off the stand while making millions of dollars and avoiding  jail for lying on the stand;
  6. to knowing that after her year of probation, Casey Anthony can leave the state of Florida or  the country,  erase her past and  start a new free life  with no consequence and no remorse, even though she allegedly took a life.

  I want no part of this or  any of the people involved.  Nor do I want any part of the Baby Lisa case.

But because so many of you asked and because I respect you and your wishes, I will respond. I will share my thoughts but I will not report on the Baby Lisa case regularly. It is way too distressing and that is not what I choose to do with my time.  What I am about to share says it all.

 

Similar Patterns Seen in Missing Baby Cases Where The Outcome Is Tragic  

First and foremost, after weighing in and analyzing the body language of so many of these “missing baby” type cases throughout the years from Susan Smith to Andrea Yates to Casey Anthony, I discovered that there are certain patterns or tells when a parent is up to no good. Debbie Bradley, Baby Lisa’s mother shows many of these patterns.

  1. First there are the crocodile tears and the ability to quickly turn the waterworks on and off. I noticed this with Debbie Bradley.r Look at this photo above. Who wipes their eyes at their temples? Someone who isn;t really crying!

 Here is more of the fake boo hooing. She rubs her eyes with both hands like someone does when they are over tired. She is not wiping away tears. When she removed her hands from this position, there were no tears which could be seen which indicates she was faking it in my view.

2.The lack of cooperation with law enforcement or the on and off cooperation with law enforcement is another signal. When someone has nothing to hide, they tell ALL and they do EVERYTHING to help law enforcement help them.  No matter .how tough the police get with them, they always cooperate if they have nothing to hide.

 3.Another pattern is when a story ill. She changed. Debbie Bradley changed her story and that is a huge sign something foul must have happened.

4. The justification syndrome is another tell. Admitting she as drunk helps appease her guilt and may justify her actions in her own distorted mind as she may  think ”Well I was drunk- so I am not responsible if anything happened to the baby.”

5. The Adding Clue Syndrome. Debbie maintained all along that three cell phones were taken along with baby Lisa. When someone is trying to create an alibi and take the onus off of themselves  they will  often give out additional information in an attempt to distract.

First of all who would kidnap a child and take not one , not two, but three cell phones? Were the cell phone sall in one neat place or did they have to go around the house to search for  them. If they went around the house searching or cell phones, wouldn’t she or the boys have heard this? The answer is obviously yes.

 Debbie clearly did not think this all the way through when she mentioned the robbery of the  cell phones. Of course they went missing, She didn’t want any evidence on them.

 6. Another pattern is the baby snatching window story. This is a very common theme among so many who report their babies missing, only to find that they have harmed their child in some way.

People don’t usually come into one’s home in the middle of the night to snatch a child. It is rare There is  noise when someone opens a window or cuts a screen. There is also the noise of movement  from the child or their  crying or whimpering after being disturbed from their sleep.  

Usually the homes where these children are allegedly snatched are small like the Debbie Bradley’s home,  so it would be easy to hear and see an intruder. As you can see this is not a  two or three story mansion where you may not hear noise. But of course if you are drunk or passed out you can conveniently say you didn’t hear or see anything.

7. She is way too prepared to be charged with a crime. She said she  expects she will be for something she didn’t do. An innocent person would never say this. They would demand their innocence.

 8. They will not allow witnesses which are their two young sons to be questioned the night Baby Lisa went missing. When Elizabeth Smart went missing her parents allowed her young sister to be questioned. As a result of what her sister told them, they were able to identify the kidnapper.

 When a parent does not cooperate this is a huge signal of guilt in my view. People who are not guilty want you to speak to everyone who can give information. They have nothing to hide. It seems like Debbie and her husband clearly have something to hide by not allowing these boys to speak to law enforcement.

 9. When lawyers are in the picture and lawyers quit forced out   that is not a good sign. Usually they quit because they have an uncooperative client who doesn’t heed their counsel or they know their client is guilty and don’t feel in good conscience they can defend them. Also why would anyone need a lawyer if they were innocent?

 

10..When the mother goes on a press junket and starts looking better and better in terms of  her  appearance, makeup and dress it usually indicates that are loving all the attention, which they obviously  lacked and needed in the first place.

They begin to feel like celebrities with all the media attention and  newfound money - lots of it . Those photos you see of baby Lisa on the news arenot free. They   are licensed out to a photo agency who pays huge money to Baby Lisa’s parents. The news venues then pay a  to the agency to use the photos. So everyone gets rich.

 Suddenly Debbie is not so sad because all the new found photo money just made Baby Lisa’s “disappearance” a lot more easier to deal with. The more Debbie evades and denies, the more the story stays on center page and the more photos are used.

11. Baby Lisa’s  father has no emotional reaction. He sits there stoic  like a bump on  log. And please don’t waste your time to tell me people grieve differently. There are universal reactions and he shows none of these reactions,  which in my view means he must know something is amiss. At first there was the arm around Lisa.

 As time passes he grows more and more physically distant as we see above. He leans away from hre. His hand is hiding in his pocket indicating that he isn;t revealing all of his true felings to her.

He even walks way ahead of her. This is a very bad sign body language wise as it means he is distancing himself from Lisa. Don’t be surprised if he suddenly jumps ship and spills it all out.

So what happened to Baby Lisa? We can speculate all we want from

  1. Debbie rolling over on the baby while she was sleeping and drunk or perhaps sitting on the baby while she was drunk and suffocating Lisa,
  2. to  shaking the baby in anger if Baby Lisa cried,  in the middle of the night,
  3.  to plain out maliciously  killing the baby  because she was angry at the father. Maybe she didn’t like that he took a new job where he had the night shift.
  4. Maybe she has post partum depression. Her drinking may be a form of self-medication.
  5. Maybe her two boys got too rambunctious with the baby and accidently killed her. Also why were these two boys conveniently sleeping with her in her bed? Was Baby Lisa in the bed too?  Did she get crushed?
  6. Cadaver dogs hit a cadaver on  Debbie’s bedroom floor. Did the baby fall off the bed, hit the floor and die or was she killed on the floor?  If Debbie was in her bedroom sleeping with the boys and someone allegedly took the baby, did they kill the baby on her bedroom floor while she was asleep in the bed with the two boys  before they snatched the baby?

 Needless to say,  body language and communication wise something is very very  wrong. I am not accusing Debbie or her boys of killing the baby accidently or on purpose. I will however say that just as Debbie marked to the press,  I  too would not be surprised if she eventually ends up behind bars.

Dr. Lillian Glass Message to Body Language Blog Readers

To all my wonderful Body Language Blog Readers:

I wanted to let you know that the reason you haven’t seen a lot of posts from me lately is because I have been working on my books and doing TV show pilots. I just finished the final touches on my upcoming book called, See Something, Hear Something, Say Something! Guide to Identifying Body Language of Terrorist. My co-author, is Vincent Sullivan, a  former Special Agent with the FBI and former member of the Joint Terrorist Task Force. The book is awesome with a lot of original research and new data about how to recognize terrorists. I am certain It will help save a lot of lives and we are so proud of this venture.

Next, I have been working on another book where I will tell you everything I possibly know about reading body language and voice and speech tells so that you can use the information to gain that added advantage in your life. I will give away all the secrets so you will know it all.

Then I  participated in several television pilots. Hopefully the one for my own show will come to fruition, so keep your fingers crossed.

So now I have some more time to give you  more blogs on  my views about news makers from my body language , voice. speech  and psychosocial perspective. Eventually I also plan to do some video blogs for you in the future and I am working on making that happen. I seem to do much better with the spoken word than the written word.

For those of you who complain about my spelling and grammar, my apologies. I got a new Mac book Pro, so hopefully there will be less spelling errors. As far as grammar goes, I purposely write these blogs exactly as I speak, so you will feel as though you and I are having a personal conversation. I don’t apologize for that.

As you know from reading my previous blogs, I am quite direct, candid and hate spin, phoniness and BS. I also have no issue with anyone who disagrees with me or shares a different view. But I do take issue with those who do it disrespectfully and in a Toxic and nasty  and hateful manner as they  hide behind their moniker of anonymity. I do understand that a lot of topics generate a lot of fierce emotion like hate. But don’t collapse your hatred about those who are featured in these posts on to  me. Instead put your hatred where it really belongs- not the messenger.

Now  I would like to say some final words about the Casey Anthony  case.  I have to admit that reporting so intensively on the Casey Anthony trial and analyzing all the players involved took its toll,  especially after the verdict was read. I was beyond shocked when  I saw justice not served. When I recently read that Judge Perry  released the jailhouse videos of Casey  upon discovering that Caylee’s body was found and that he did not allow jurors to  see this, it confirmed my view that Perry in essence  was more concerned about himself in not having to re-try the case.   I also believe that the jury liked Jose Baez a lot better than the prosecuting attorneys and that was a large part of why the verdict turned out as it did in my view. I also believe that the jury wanted to go home. It was 4thof July and they wanted out! Analyzing the body language and speech and voice patterns of Cindy and George Anthony on Dr. Phil repulsed me. I adore Dr. Phil. I know him personally and think the world of him and felt that he asked great probing  questions which allowed us to see who these Toxic people really are. He gave them enough rope and they hung themselves for good.  He was a lot more diplomatic with them than I would have been.

I would have let them have it. But then they probably would have walked off the show and there would not have been an interview. I detest liars and these two liars lied in these interviews based on the tells I observed, just as they lied on the stand. That is unforgivable! Why aren’t these people held accountable? Anyone else who lied on the stand would be in jail. Why aren’t these people in jail. And YES I hold them as responsible for Caylee’s death as I do Casey. They knew who their daughter was, yet chose to enable her.

I am boycotting the Anthony’s along with a lot of other people out there. I don’t care what more they have to say. I hate that the despicable Cindy and George have made millions off off this poor child’s death and have manipulated and used the media to their benefit.  They said it all with their body language.

Now people are asking me to weigh in about the baby Lisa case. After the Casey Anthony case, the last thing I want to since do is spend time analyzing a mother and father of a missing baby. But since so many of  my precious and loyal readers asked for it,  I will share my views about Baby Lisa’s parent’s body.

While I will always discuss the body language of news makers who happen to be in high profile criminal cases, I don’t plan to make it my focus. fact I stopped doing over the top sensational crime oriented shows which appear to be  designed for” entertainment”. The “bombshells “ rudeness” “unleashing” and “ugliness” are too manipulative and too disturbing. So, along with the criminal cases, you will be reading a lot about celebs politicians, sports  figures and world leaders as they  will  all be put under the Dr. Lillian Glass Body Language microscope. Casey Anthony Craves Jose Baez’s Attention As He Ignores Her

When Casey first saw Jose Baez as she walked into court on Day 27, she lights up. She has a genuine smile with raised cheeks and horizontal lip action. The fact that her mouth is not  open and her lips are together means that she is trying to contain her joy. Jose has a cordial smile. His cheeks aren’t raised and his lips are also closed which means he is pleased to see her but not overjoyed as we have seen earlier in pre-trial  hearings.

He  keeps his physical distance from Casey and his hand is cupped at the knuckles. This indicates that he is feeling ambivalent and anxious.

Then Cheney Mason comes over and steps behind her. She is all smiles. However, she does not smile back at Masson. Instead, she continues to look at Jose Baez, who is busily at work on his computer and ignores Casey. Casey even leans in towards Baez. Then Mason gives her a quick pat on the back as he walks away and heads towards his seat.

When Cheney leaves, she speaks to Jose and he ignores her.He is busy  working and trying every which way to save her life. She ignores the fact that he has no time to speak to her now. Like a child who demands attention, she leans down on the table and looks up in a further  attempt to gain Jose’s attention.

She realizes that her feminine and cutesy ways aren’t working with Jose and she feels embarrassed. She looks down and has a sheepish tight smile  which  is consistent with feeling embarrassment or shame. Her shoulders are rounded, which   indicates submission and defeat that  she was  not able to get Jose to do  what she wanted him to do at the instant she  wanted him to do it.

Casey is clearly embarrassed and defeated as we see by her rounded shoulders and her looking down. She has distanced herself from Jose and has  literally given him the cold shoulder as she raised her shoulder in his direction. She has also turned her body away from his.

This little interaction speaks to what is really going on in Casey’s mind during this trial and what is important to her- attention and control. Instead of being concerned that her life is on the line, she is more concerned whether Jose likes her or pays attention to her.We can see how Casey has used her flirty act and looked up at some man  and batted her mascara laden eyes to get her way.

Her body language  behavior when she enters the courtroom is disturbing to me. She shows a  different side when the jurors are in the room . She will  fake cry on cue when  her new mother  figure attorney Ms. Simms coaches her to do it.  Ms. Simms was hired on to question the medical experts.  She is supposed to be outstanding at this. But she is now a high paid baby sister for Casey.

Casey will use a folded non wet  Kleenex and wipe a non wet spot under her eye oe cheek. She will breathe heavily through her mouth and widen her nasal alae muscles on the side of  her nose which then  gives it a red appearance. It gets red because pulling stretching  the alae causes more blood flow.  Hence,  the red appearance.

The times she does genuinely cry appear to be for herself and not for Casey. I do believe seeing the animated version of what Caylee looked like  with and without duct tape on her skull was shocking to Casey and her emotion was genuine. Like most sociopaths, she didn’t bother to think of think of the consequences of her actions of leaving a body in a bag.

Other times she co the cocks her head to the side and looks angry. She is  not angry at testimony given about her personally. Instead, she exhibits a cocked head and angry face when experts are trying to explain factual data of what they discovered at the crime scene.

They are poking holes in her defense and she is angry about it. She is angry that she got caught and that the body was found. After all she thought she was smarter than everyone else. Now she is coming to find out that there are some very very smart people out there who will prove what she did to Caylee.

In it’s 27th day, this trial is getting more and more upsetting by the day. As I watch her body language and observe her so carefully, I  see a bona fide sociopath, who is both  sickening and frightening . www.drlillianglass.com

Casey Anthony Fakes Tears Until Animals Gnawing On Caylee’s Bones Were Mentioned

Casey Anthony continued to  bow her head as the doctor on the stand discussed the skull. Casey has a folded Kleenex positioned under her nose which she refused to move.It is so contrived that it is comical to look at.

When the Anthropologist Dr. Schultz arrived on the stand, Casey looked on with objective interest as you can see in the photo above.

It is interesting to note that seeing the skull has no doubt taken it’s toll on Casey Anthony. She looks more gaunt  after she had her anxiety attack yesterday. Most likely she did not feel like eating dinner after seeing photos of the frightening looking skull.

As soon as photos were shown of the skull , Casey immediately tuned away and placed her folded hankie under the nose.

According to  reporter Kathi Bellich the photos of the skull are gruesome. Strands of hair drape across eye sockets. Teeth missing except  for the molars (back teeth) .  The hair matted. Duct tape layered across face. Apparently, Casey had initially stared at the photos and showed no reaction.

As Casey continued to fake cry with her dry Kleenex, Attorney Simms on her team who is known to cross examining experts has now been related to the official role of surrogate mother and comforter  and emotion coach to Casey. As soon as an emotional reaction should occur, she puts her arm around Casey. Casey  then immediately puts a tissue up tp her face.

The jury HAS to see this as  phony and insulting behavior.  Casey does  leak out expressions of upset  and anger periodically. No doubt she is upset that she is being forced to listen to testimony about  Caylee’s skull and bones.

Suddenly the anthropologist mentions that the animals gnawed on Caylee’s bones.  For the first time, we see Casey break down for real. She is beside herself  and the veins in her neck pop out. She turns red and is flushed. Suddenly the Kleenex is crinkled.

This is no doubt the very first time that Casey Anthony has had to see the consequences of her actions. She now saw the consequences of putting duct tape over the child’s  nose mouth and throwing her dead body in the woods.  For the first time ever, she saw and heard the consequences of what happens when a body is thrown away-animals ea tit and gnaw on the bones.

I believe that those horrific words and that visual of seeing what animals did to Caylee’s remains will haunt her for the rest of her life. There is no one to soothe her when these images begin to surface in the middle of the night. Ms. Simms won’t be there and neither will her parents or Lee. Casey will be left all alone to deal with the consequences of her actions, which   may be  her worse torture yet. www.drlillianglass.com

Credible Yet Nervous and Scratching Lee Anthony Ignores Sister Casey

Gone are the “I love you’s” for CMA. Gone are the bright smiles towards Casey. When Lee took the stand, Casey smiled but brother Lee ignored her.  How could he look at someone who literally ruined his life forever? How does he prove that he didn’t molest his sister? He will have to carry that burden for the rest of his life.

We have seen from Lee’s depo tape and from his pre trial behavior that he inappropriately  laughs a lot when he is nervous or uncomfortable. That is why it is important to do a baseline analysis before you read a person’s body language to find out their particular body language quirks.

When Lee said that he came over to his mother’s house because she asked him to  and then laughed as he said it, it was a passive aggressive way of saying “you do what Cindy says.” It was also odd that Cindy did not tell him that Casey was  not saying where Caylee was .It showed that the communication between mother and son isn’t that great.

While Lee only laughed a handful of times out of nervousness, he certainly scratched himself a lot while he was on the stand.

  He scratched his neck.

He scratched his right cheek.

He scratched the side of his nose.

He scratched his lower jaw.

He scratched the top of his head.

And he scratched the left side of his head.

When someone has a case of the itchy scratchies it usually means they are experiencing anxiety or nervousness. The autonomic nervous system causes more blood flow so there is often an accompanying itching sensation. Depending on the context of what is asked or said, it can also reflect deception. But in Lee’s case it appeared to be a signal of nervousness.

The bottom line was that Lee sounded credible and forthright when he spoke and has clearly broken his bond with his sister and will no longer protect her.

POLICE TESTIMONY SPOKE VOLUMES ABOUT GEORGE

Perhaps the most powerful aspect of today;s testimony in my view came from the police officers who came to the Anthony home as a result of Cindy calling 911. Cindy said it smelled like  there was a dead body in the car and that is why the police showed up in the first place. Even though the lead officer smelled a  strong foul odor from the open trunk, he did not order  the CSI Unit to do an investigation on the car. Surely a senior officer would know how a dead body smelled. Did he slip up and make an error?

The other interesting thing was hearing both officers describe Cindy’s , George’s, and Casey’s demeanor. Cindy was understandably wild and angry and upset while both George and Casey were cool, calm and collected.

According to Lee, George didn’t even come into the room when Cindy and Lee were trying to get information out of Casey. He was distant and detached. That seems odd to me. It makes me wonder if he knew something. Did he know Casey was dead all along?

Here is a man who has proclaimed that Caylee was the love of his life and  even had a tattoo put on his chest to honor her.  How is it that he had not seen his grand daughter in 31 days,  and now retreats? Apparently he had never been away from Caylee for a day and now she is gone 31 days and he doesn’t put in his two cents and ask one question of his daughter or insist on knowing Caylee’s whereabouts ?

Something doesn’t make sense to me here. I don’t buy it that he retreated because Cindy was loud and emotional and Lee was there . Why was he so uninvolved? Could this information about George’s uninvolved  behavior create reasonable doubt with some of the jurors?  Will they wonder if Jose Baez’ theory  is true- that  George knew about the drowning of Caylee?  After all, this is an ex policeman. You would think that he would at least ask a question of his own daughter. Was he intimidated by his daughter? Did she have something over him like a sexual molestation secret? Will any of the jurors wonder about that? If I was on the jury I would be upset by Georges uninvolvement  and lack of communication and  his   not trying to get to the bottom of Casey’s story.

The more a jury hears  about everyone’s demeanor and body language, the easier it will be to reach a proper conclusion as to what really happened to Caylee. www.drlillianglass.com

Casey Ex Beau Ricardo Morales Slept In Same Bed With Casey and Caylee

Ex Boyfriend Ricardo Morles’  body language where he consistently leaned back in the chair and spoke in a  monotone delivery and gave  curt,  staccato,abrupt answers indicated that he clearly  did not want to be there.  Thus far, his testimony appeared to be  one of the most shocking testimonies thus far. It may be jaw dropping to any juror to hear  his description of  his  sleeping arrangements with Casey and Caylee. Apparently Casey slept next to him with Caylee in the bed as well.

Sleeping on the same bed your new boyfriend and your  little girl  shows that Casey had absolutely no boundaries. Casey  could have made Caylee a  small makeshift bed on the floor with pillows and sheets nearby. She did not need to put the toddler in the bed next to her and her new beau.

Hearing this speaks to Casey’s  motive in getting rid of Caylee. Caylee was clearly a burden to her sex life. While Ricardo Morales was open to including Caylee  in the bedroom, her subsequent beau, Tony Lazarus would have none of it.

In fact he was not too keen on having Caylee around. When he was on the stand his body language clearly revealed to me the discomfort when Caylee was there. At first he was being personable and allowing Caylee to swim in the pool with them. But I am sure he drew  is the line at Caylee being in their bed and doing a sleepover. That is why Casey never spent the night with him in the initial stages of their courtship. She began spending the night when Caylee was no longer around.

The visual of a little  girl in the same bed as a young twenty something man is beyond disturbing. Morales  did manage to  make it clear that Caylee was never next to him and was only next to Casey.

If Casey was busy cuddling up to her new man or having sex with her new man there is no doubt that Casey wasn’t paying that much attention to Caylee.  If they were engaged in the sexual act and they were coupled together, Morales would indeed be next to Caylee. He would be way too close for comfort. The fact that she may have  had a child  see her   engaged in a sex act or hear any strange sounds from her mother and a strange man may have upset or frightened Caylle.

What if she wet the bed? What if she needed to have a drink in the middle of  the  night? This does not create an ambiance for a good sex life with a boyfriend , let alone a new one.

Another thing that Morales said that raised eyebrows was  that he was aware of the date a photo was taken because of the bruise under Caylee’s  eye.  Did Caylee fall down or hit herself in a non- baby proofed home where young men and women lived? Was Caylee punched or slapped?

After hearing Morales on the stand, the bottom line, jurors may have a hard time believing the defense’s argument  that Casey was a good mother. www.drlillianglass.com
