Joran Van Der Sloot’s Insincere Body Language During Courtoom Confession Lands His 28 Years In Prison

Saturday, January 14th, 2012

We see a very different looking Joran Van der slot when he was first  arrested and frightened after being arrested for killing Stephanie Flores in Peru and paraded around.  Then we saw a wide eyed frightened Joran. Today we see a heavier and more cocky Joran. The cocked head to the side and the tight lipped appearance indicate his insincerity.

His shoulder shrugs as you can see int his photo when he spoke the words  Yes I want to plead guilty. I wanted  from the first moment to confess sincerely. As he states these words you can see many signals of deception. The statement analysis indicates deception as well based on the words he chose. It is not true that Joran wanted to plead guilty from the first moment to confess. He was adamant from the beginning that he was innocent and then claimed he was coerced into a confession by the Peruvian authorities. Also the word sincerely is also significant as there eis nothing sincere about his confession.

Also the repetition of  the  word  ”wanted” speaks to yet another issue- his seeing himself as a victim in all of this. In essence he says that he wanted to do so at the beginning but no one would let him. We clearly know that this is not so based on reports of his actions early on during his arrest and subsequent incarceration.

His monotone voice along with his cocked head belie his words as he continues to say  I am truly sorry for this bad act. He shrugs his shoulders looks up,  away from the three judges  as he cocks his head. Not only does he shrug his shoulder, he keeps it in the same raised position which indicates that he is literally giving the “cold shoulder” to match his cold monotoned voice pattern.

His words indicate the opposite based on his body language behaviors. He is not sorry at all and does not consider this a bad act. he has no feeling and no remorse  whatsoever and it shows.

Then he immediately switches up the words and says  I am truly sorry for this act. I feel bad. The fact that he repeats his apology as he alters the word order confirms that he is lying about feeling sorry for his “bad act”.

But now he is actually showing signals of honesty when he makes this latest statement. He now focuses his eyes back on the judges as he l looks directly at them as he now bows his head in sorrow. Yes he is sorry, but NOT for killing Stephanie Flores. He is sorry for getting caught . In fact he is truly sorry he got caught. Now he does not call it a bad act as he did initially. Now he simply calls it an act .In essence he is saying that he is sorry he was caught for his act of killing Stephanie Flores which he does not consider  bad , but merely an act.

Then he says I feel very bad. This is true based on his body language. He feels very bad because he was caught doing this act that he did not consider bad. Note how the  position of the words  bad and act have changed in his statement. It is not longer a bad act. Now he feels bad he was caught in the act.

He is still nervous and anxious as she shows signs of this rocking back and forth freighting movements which his legs constantly moving as he sat and waited to speak,  through his profuse sweating  and itching as you can see int he photo above.

However he cannot help but leak out his arrogance and self righteousness through his erect posture and raised shoulder literally giving the judges a cold shoulder via his insincere confession . He does however feel vulnerable as you can see  by his hands clasped over his private area. While he believe he was justified in what he did to Stephanie and feels forced to confess for the reward to a lighter sentence, he is still nervous and frightened by what the sentence will be. Also if you look at the muscle tension of his hands as he clasps them over his groin area you can see that he is indeed exhibiting a lot of nervousness and tension as he is holding on to himself for dear life.

Another change in Joran is that there is a lot of puffiness under his eyes which may indicate he is not getting a lot of sleep in prison and/ or possibly doing drugs. It has been said that for the right amount of money one can get just about  anything in this prison.

Joran’s legal defense was that he had Post Traumatic Stress Syndrome from the Natalie Holloway incident because  he was hounded by the press for her alleged killing. Perhaps this was the best defense that his attorney could come up with because there was certainly no other defense as to why Joran would kill a lovely Peruvian girl with a bright future ahead of her.  This lame defense got him two years less than the maximum 30 years he would have received had he not confessed.

As we see from Joran’s photos, prison life has not been good to him. He looks bad and as he lingers in prison for the next  close to three decades, he will look even worse and prison life will be worse to him. Based on his actions during  his court proceedings he knows this as well.

His slovenly appearance shows that he did not care how he looked or came across. He may have been told by his attorney that his confession would result in less prison time. because of his arrogance he may have interpreted this less prison time to be  only a a few years. That would explain why he was visibly angry when the judge ordered him to 28 years in prison. He was reported to have  cursed  out loud as she was also ordered to  pay $75,000 in reparations.

But Under Peru’s laws, however, van der Sloot could get out after serving half of his sentence. This means the 24 year old  could be out when he is 38. That means he would have a long life ahead of him to live freely. With book, film and TV interviews he could be a very wealthy man, continue his gambling lifestyle and life like nothing ever happened.

But that will not be the case if the US has anything to do about it. He may be extradited to the US for extortion in the Natalie Holloway case.  If found guilty, he would be put away for more time and serve it in the US.

It is unclear  to date whether Joran will stay at Castro Castro prison where he has been isolated from the other prisoners or whether now that he has been sentenced, he  will be among the general population there. it is unclear as to whether he will be transferred to a more harsher prison in Peru and placed int he general population.

If placed the general population Joran will be a walking dead man as there is fierce loyalty even among prisoners when it comes to a national hero- Stephanie Flores’ father. If another prisoner does not kill him, disease such as TB and AIDS may do it, thus making it doubtful that we will see Joran on the streets of Aruba, the Netherlands or any other place int he world.

If by some fluke of nature he does come out of prison alive at age 38, he will no doubt suffer the same fate as OJ and so many others where they commit  another bad act to land themselves in prison for life.

While nothing can bring back Stephanie Flores, justice was  finally served as she can now rest in peace. Let’s hope the same justice can be served for Natalie Holloway so she too can rest in peace and so her loving mother Beth can also have some peace.

Joran Van Der Sloot Treated Well In Castro Castro Prison With A Pats On The Back and Walking Freely Behind Guards

JORAN GIVING INTERVIEWS FOR MONEY FOR JAILHOUSE PROTECTION?

Journalist John van den Heuvel  of De Telegraaf, the Dutch newspaper came into Casto Castro Prison in  Peru  to videotape  Joran van der Sloot for an interview.   I have no doubt that the newspaper paid him to do the interview.

The reason I say this is because greedy Joran has made it clear that he will not speak to reporters unless there is money on the table.
Joran definitely  needs money to keep him alive in Castro Castro. He needs money to buy food from the outside.

In looking at the above  photo of Joran he looks very well fed. He looks well kept with his manicured beard.

The money also allows him to buy anything else  he wants, including the protection of the guards. Maybe that is why they allow him to do any interviews and roam around freely  without any  restraints.

THE REAL NEWS AS IT PERTAINS TO JORAN

While the de Telegraaf story tells of  Joran’s confessing  that he extorted money from Natalie Holloway’s family, that is old news. The FBI knew about it and we knew about it. But what IS  new news and what is the  REAL  story of the day  is what is going on in Castro Castro in relation to Joran.

It seems that Joran has worked  both his charm as a sociopath  and his money  to receive the goodwill of the guards.  You will see how well the guards are treating him in  these screen shots taken from a video clip from the  deTelegaaf   interview taken   before he entered the room to speak to the  Dutch reporter.

When we first see the videoclip of Joran he is affectionately patted on the back by the guard as he arrives in the little courtyard on his way to the interview room.

Joran looks over  at the back patting guard and gives him a little ” hello glad to see you “  grin.Joran bows his head down in order to maintain eye contact with the shorter guard.

We see a genuine and brighter and acknowledging  smile  as the guard removes his back patting hand from Joran.

Next we see one of the other guards showing Joran a piece of  paper . Joran looks at it but is busy scratching his ear or the side of his head.  Maybe he has ear mites or head lice. You see him reaching out to grab the paper.

Joran raises his eyebrows and insists that he needs that paper and  abruptly  grabs  it out of the guards possession . The guard relents and the other guards who are essentially onlookers do nothing, even though they remain close by.

Joran even grabs the  paper the guard is holding  out of the guards hand. He looks cocky and entitled as he does this. The guards relent and don’t do a thing. They let him have the paper.

We then see Joran with the paper and he is walking in BACK of the guards.

Have you ever heard of a prisoner walking in back of a guard without handcuffs or restraints?

Have you ever heard of a prisoner grabbing papers out of a guards hand without being sent for disciplinary action?

Well you have heard it now. It happened in Castro Castro with Joran van der Sloot and you just  saw it  here in these photographs.

JORAN IS PROTECTED NOW AND FOREVER AS LONG AS THE MONEY KEEPS ROLLING IN

Joran is no doubt getting a lot of perks  in jail . He has a lot of freedom and he has a lot of control over the guards as we just saw.

Seeing this  makes me even more confident about  my  theory that he is being protected by his Dutch  government who will most likely NEVER find him the Spanish to Dutch translator he needs for his trial to proceed. Even the Peruvians reported that they don’t have anyone who is an official translator from Spanish to Dutch.

They are keeping him safe in protective custody so that the can earn money doing interviews and write a book. They money he earns will go for a king like lifestyle at Castro Castro with guards and prisoners being on his hefty payroll.

PERUVIAN CULTURE OF MACHISMO CAN  ACCEPT WHAT JORAN DID  TO STEFANY AND NATALIE

While we are outraged by what Joran did to two innocent women, in his machismo prison environment in Peru they may not consider what he did to be  so bad. They may not look at what he did as such a big deal.

In fact, the Latin American Herald Tribune http://laht.com/article.asp?ArticleId=357102&CategoryId=14095 did an article on  machismo culture and violence  against women  and how Peruvian women  have to deal with a justice system that often justifies the behavior of the aggressor.

While it is sickening to our culture, the article states the following:

What happens in Peru is that violence is not considered a serious problem and that in certain cases it is justified,” the head of women’s affairs in the National Ombudsman’s Office, attorney Teresa Hernandez, said.

Society in general finds violence justified when the woman does not fulfill the role she “should” perform: not looking after her spouse enough, not asking permission to go out, or spending too much time outside the home, she said.

“When women behave that way, it is considered inappropriate and deserving of punishment – that’s why our hypothesis is that since those who enforce the law (police, prosecutors, judges) have that criterion, complaints are not processed with the priority or the urgency they require,” Hernandez told Efe.

The article goes on to say :

“Very few judges order effective measures of protection,” Sarmiento said, adding “there is widespread disregard for the national and international regulations that are essential for resolving these cases,” such as the 1994 Belem Inter-American Convention to prevent, punish and eradicate violence against women.

Both victims and aggressors tend to be in the 18-35 age group, and two-thirds of victims are romantically involved with their attackers, according to the Ministry of Women.

Thirty-eight percent of the killers say they acted out of jealousy. Some 34 percent of the victims were stabbed to death, 26 percent died of a beating and 15 percent were shot

When the aggressors are caught and tried in court, they usually ask for the benefit of a sincere confession or say that the homicide was the result of violent emotion, which reduces their sentence to less than 15 years behind bars, Sarmiento said.

“Finally, an atmosphere of impunity is created that makes the situation worse, because another aggressor will thing nothing will happen to him” if he commits the same crime, the attorney said. EFE

 JORAN’S BRIGHT FUTURE
So there you have it!  Joran will remain protected in Castro Castro forever or until they find a translator. Maybe his Spanish will be so fluent in a few years that he wont need a translator.
Maybe  when it comes time for him to go through the  trial in Spanish, he will have earned millions from his interviews, photos , a book and film deal that he will have have a lot of money to pay off guards, prisoners, and who knows- even judges . This is NOT the USA where this could never happen. This is Peru and we have already seen what happens. Re- read the article in the Latin American Herald Tribune above.

They fact that Stefany Flores was an alleged lesbian may be all the more reason she will could be vilified in a culture of machismo. If Joran  does go to trial and says that he killed Stefany because  he was emotionally outraged because  she lead him on sexually and toyed with him  when she had no intention of having sex with him because she was a lesbian, he may get some sympathy from the court as indicated in the above article.

JORAN COULD BE OUT OF PRISON IN LESS THAN 15 YEARS

As sickening as it is, Joran could be out of  Castro Castro Prison in less than 15 years  well before he is 34.  He may not  get extradited to the US by Peru to serve his crime for extorting Natalie Holloway’s family because  the good old  Netherlands will most likely step in  and save the day for Joran. They will prevent anything happening to their precious citizen just like  we saw in Aruba. .

That means he could have  the rest of his life to do interviews and make money and write more books. Who knows, by then  he could even get his own  reality show.

 BUT KARMIC JUSTICE MAY PREVAIL

Even if Joran manages to skirt the law, there is something called Karmic Justice. It may not be in the form of justice as we know it but it may be justice from a higher power.

Because of the unsanitary conditions and contagious diseases Joran may very well catch one of them. He may succumb to  tuberculosis, pneumonia, Hepatitis A B and C, HIV- AIDS, cholera, parasites, MSRA, or a host of other communicable diseases available to him in his environment.

I do hope that Joran gets his punishment one way or the other for ending the lives of two precious and beautiful women. I pray that he is never released so that he could torment and kill  yet another woman.

Anita Van der Sloot’s Body Language Shows Anger at Joran and Shame He Is Her Son But Continues To Make Excuses For Him As She Cuts Him Out of Her Life

Saturday, June 26th, 2010

WAS THE STORY ABOUT  THE CONTENTS OF JORAN’S NOTE HE LEFT FOR HER TRUE?

While Joran may have left his mother Anita  a note that he was leaving for Peru, perhaps what he allegedly said  in that note may  be wishful thinking on the part of Anita van der Sloot.

She gives a seemingly embellished story when she says “Joran left me a note.” As she says.  this she brushes off her leg it looks like she is brushing something off. This is usually a signal of deception.

She then  looks down and licks her lips indicating  two other  signals  deception as she recites  that the note says “ Mommy I love you but I, I (repetition of the word I which is another signal of deception )  don’t wanna go to the Netherlands. She then looks way which is yet anothersignal of deception.

She then says, using  a strong voice which does ring true “ I am invited to gamble  in Peru and  I can make money there. But then her voice wanes as she goes on with something that doesn’t make much sense as she adds that Joran’s note says  and  I wanna stay there far  away as no body knows me there. I wanna think I what I wanna do with my life?”

Right after she says this she cocks her head as though she is questioning what he has just said- another signal of deception. I seriously doubt Joran wrote those exact words “I wanna stay there far away nobody knows me there. That doesn’t sound like something someone would write in a note as does I wanna think what to do with my life.

Those are very serious decisions- to stay in Peru and to go away and decide what to do with his life. Why would he write that in a little note instead of  discussing these important life changing decisions verbally with is mother. Also her stating that Joran was there to stay in Peru as opposed to other Latin American countries does not ring true either. He went there for a Poker tournament, not to stay there and build a life. He also  went to Columbia and Chile and was on his way to Argentina. So I don’t buy  it that he was going to  to build a life in Peru where no one knew him. It doesn’t make sense, especially since he is not all that fluent in Spanish.

The fact that he wrote it instead of communicating it   to her verbally shows what a strained relationship they must have had. Also since her interview  was done for Dutch TV and since she said she trusts them so much, why didn’t she produce that note that Joran wrote in order to show everyone exactly what he wrote?

She then  looks down and purses her lips and shrugs her shoulders- all three  all signals of deception as  her body language and facial expression do not match her feelings she is attempting to express. Then she makes a loud” tsking” or smacking sound with her tongue, followed by silence.

She says I was angry. She knits her brow together and juts her jaw forward indicating that she was indeed angry with Joran.

She says ” I was ready for Joran to eh   follow a path where they could help him dealing with his eh  (looks away) em his gambling addiction and if there was a personality disorder which could be very good possible.” She she looks down and blinks a lot as she says this.

Her body language tells make me wonder if she really did send him tot he Netherlands and if  he was planning to go there ,  or if this is all Anita’s  spin to not make Joran look like  a monster.

If you are going to a clinic for a gambling addiction, you mention only  that and don’t add in his  personality disorder, unless  you know one exists. There is no doubt that Anita did know that Joran had some type of psychological problem as he was apparently seeing a therapist in his teen years. Apparently he was sent to a therapist by his parents. According to an interview  which Joran gave to the Aruban police when he was a teen, given after Natalie’s was found missing, Joran admitted he had been sent to a psychiatrist for stealing 50 euros  from his father and for his violence towards his brother.

While Jorn has told many lies in his past, I believe that his telling about seeing a psychiatrist was one of the few times that he was telling the truth.

ANITA LAUGHS WHEN SHE SAYS IT COULDN’T BE JORAN WHO KILLED STEFANY

After Anita recounts that  she found out Stefany was murdered and says that it could not have been Joran,  her facial expression is not what one would expect. She smiles as you see above.

At first she recites what she heard  in a very low and labored tone. As she speaks she  turns her whole body and face away as literally to not face this disaster she is revealing.

She says “ I heard  was a girl found n the Tac hotel in the room of Joran. Her  Inflection goes up as she says em murdered grually em with a  knife , blood everywhere etc. (why would someone say etc.?) They would say etc as a  means of detachment. Anita was clearly trying to detach herself from the horror  of the incident as she  further visualized what he son did to  poor Stefany. Knowing this was too much for her to bear emotionally. The fact that Anita spoke in a  monotone also conformed her emotional detachment.

As Anita says the words there was blood everywhere, she looks away and turns her head to face way from the interviewer. It is as though she is unable to face this horrific visual scene as she has a serious and devastated look on her face as you can see above.

But  then what she does seems rather odd. She begins to smile as she says “And I thought no no this cannot be. No way.Her smile is a not a happy smile but rather a nervous smile. It is a that lasts five seconds.  It may also be a  smile of relief that Joran was finally  caught for  all of his past and present his misdeeds. She then shrugs her shoulders.

We know that a shoulder shrug is often associated wih a person not telling the truth. When Anita  said the words” No way” referring to the fact that there was no way Joran could have committed this brutal act, she was not telling the truth. In her mind, she may have  very well known that Joran was capable of doing such a horrific thing based on his past violence and personality disorder which she referred to earlier in the interview.

She then says she says I was I was was completely shut ” while  clasping  her hands together as if  and then  brushing  her palms   as though she was symbolically brushing Joran off and eliminating  from her life.

Then she crosses her chest with her   with her arms  over lapping one another as if to protect herself. She then  describes how she was  completely shut down emotionally .

Then she pushes her hands out as if she is literally pushing Joran  away from her.

As she describes her phone call with Joran when he was calling her from the taxi during his escape into Chile, her body language appears to be  in synch with her emotional state. Here we see Anita making very frantic  gestures with her hands as she relates how she implored her son to   turn himself in and go to police after she described how he was crying to her.

Then Anita changes her tune and says that she thought it was all a set up because it was exactly five years to the day “that Natalie death happened and now this with Stefany  Flores  happened.” The fact that she mentioned the two girl by  name indicates that she has  respect for them as she  realized the gravity of the situation and her son’s involvement  .  As Anita mentions  Stefany’s name, she turns away as to symbolically turn away from Joran and what he did.  Her speaking in a very matter of fact  unemotional tone shows that she hasn’t fully come to terms with everything from an emotional standpoint.

ANITA SHOWS COMPASSION AND SHAME

Anita showed compassion when she said she immediately thought of the parents. Then she added that she  too identified as she lost a son. She then said she hoped  Joran can speak to the parents of  Stefany Flores and in a normal way tell them what happened.

But as she says this, there is a  tinge of anger in her tone as she  knows there will be no normal way for Joran speak to her parents .  So she says “And I apologize  for them that he is my son. ” She looks down in embarrassment as she makes this statement, indicting body language-wise that she is   truly embarrassed that Joran was her son.

But then  she attempts to modify what she said  by revealing “  He’s, not a monster.” She says this with a   questioning  look as her inflection goes up as if asking a question, perhaps wondering if Joran really is a monster.

In trying to erase this thought from her mind, she  further tries to mollify her shame and embarrassment of Joran by explaining that “ he can be  very gentle,” Then she she rolls  her head from side to side and shrugs  her shoulders as she continues to offer up further excuses fro Joran’s egregious acts by saying “  it could be that he  has a bipolar em personality.”
She is slightly teary  eyed  as she says this yet she is angry as indicated by her pursed lips and jaw jutted forward.

She then leans away and places  her hands in front of herself ,   interlocking her  fingers like a closed gate. In doing so she is    indicating that there is no way she will ever change the words  she has said “  I will not visit Joran  in Peru. I don’t have any feeling that it  can add up to anything. I want to keep distance .I think it will bring emotions up that I am not ready for. “

I think that Anita is wise to stay away from Joran as who knows what would happen to her if they were alone together in his cell in Peru. Based on his psychological reports Joran does not value the female role and has disrespect for women, Thus, there is no doubt that he disrespects his mother. Based on how violent his killing was of Stefany and what he probably did to Natalie, he harbors  a lot of rage towards women including   his mother. Therefore, her own life may be in jeopardy if she is face to face with her son.

She tries to justly her actions  of refusing to see her son by saying she is not a police officer, she is a  a mom.  What she is saying is that she wants the police  officers to handle him because as a mom she is helpless. She  goes  on to say of he is involved, then he needs to be punished by the police.

ANITA GOES BACK TO BLAMING JORAN’S PROBLEMS ON HIS BEING  CHASED FIVE YEARS

Anita definitely has mercurial feelings whne it comes to Joran. On the one hand she sees what Joran has done and wants hiom punished fro his actions.. But on the other breath she continues to make excuses  for Joraan by  saying that “he was chased five years;”

She ratonalizes that this is what caused this  as she blame “people stared at him everywhere he went. “

Maybe if Joran would have come clean and not toyed with the Holloway family, people would not have  have stared at him. Maybe if he would have completed his studies or gone on to  a respectable profession instead of being engaged in the trafficking of prostitutes in Thailand people wouldn’t have stared at him. Maybe if he would have dedicated his time and energies to a more worthwhile and charitable cause instead of playing poker, people wouldn’ t have stared at him.  Perhaps if he got the psychological help he needed, he would have been better able to cope if anyone did happen to stare at him. In reality, how could people avoid staring at someone like Joran who was a striking looking at 6 foot 3 inches tall.

Anita continued on in defending Joran by saying ,”They bothered him and there as no place he was safe.”

NOW ANITA GOES BACK TO BLAMING JORAN

We see Anita’s thought yo yoing  as she says ” I belive in karma. If you do things you shouldn’t do a lot of shit happens to you.” It was interesting how Anita used such a crude word when she knew she was being televised. Perhaps that was the only words she could use to describe her son’s predicament.

Ti use Anita’s word,  a lot of shit happened to Anita as well as Joran. It happened to her because she didn’t handle her out of control son with enough tough love. She made  too many excuses for him like  she is doing now.

But then she goes backtracks as she blames  Joran for not listening to his parents. But his parents needed to have set down some firm laws so their teenage son at the time was not in casinos gambling.

Anita then says ” He didn’t listen to me . and then hesitates and finally continues with “  this last time .” I have no doubt that Joran didn’t listen to Anita anytime.  In making such a  statement Anita is trying to defend herself, She does so by adding “  I tried to do my best I don’t think I could have done more.. “  Of course she could have done more  early on in Joran’s teen years. But she is right that she could not have done more now . It is too late.

One of the most disturbing aspects of  Anita’s interview was that she was making excuses for not  talking to Beth Twitty and blaming the fact that she was being shielded  by the media.  That is an excuse  because if Anita wanted to get to Beth she could have reached out to her somehow during these five years. As Anita says this she  looks down and shrugs her shoulder. This body language gesture indicates that  what Anita is saying about not being able to get to Beth is not true.

What is absolutely true based on her  angry and distanced  body language is that there is no longer any relationship between Anita and her son Joran. www.drlillianglass.com

Joran Van Der Sloot’s Psych Tests Reveal His Sociopathy, Violence, and Disdain for Women, As He Claims He Was Forced to Confess And Continues to Play “Victim”

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

First and foremost the results of Joran van der Sloot’s psychological tests have been made public. Some of the results reveal that he has a hair trigger temper, doesn’t value women, has many anti social behaviors, can only make superficial relationships, has no empathy and feelings towards others, and is narcissistic .

All of his behaviors scream that he is a Sociopath.

HOW WAS JORAN TRICKED INTO SIGNING A CONFESSION WHEN  IT WAS ALL VIDEOTAPED?

Now  Joran van der Sloot  claims he was tricked into confessing to Stephany Flores’ murder. He says  that  the Peruvian authorities told him that if he signed the papers they gave him, he would be transferred to the Netherlands.

If  what he is saying is true( and I doubt it), then the  Peruvians may have given lying Joran a taste of his own medicine.

All he has done over the past 5 years is lie about Natalie Holloway. If they did happen to tell him that he would be deported back to the Netherlands if he signed the confession that he made all by himself, then I say,  good for them.

In truth, I doubt they told him this for a number of reasons. First of all everything was captured on video and secondly they did not have the authority to extradite him to the Netherlands as Peru and the Netherlands do not have that type of an agreement.

Joran tells the Dutch newspaper   Da Telegraaf, “In my blind panic I signed everything, but never knew what was written on them.”

That is another ridiculous lie out of Joran’s mouth. Of course he knew what was written on them. We saw him taking his time during the confession and reading everything slowly and carefully  before he signed anything.  If he didn’t understand something in the confession, the Peruvians  also had someone from the Dutch embassy available to translate it for him

WHY DOESN’T JORAN EXPLAIN “NOW”  INSTEAD OF “LATER “?

“I was tricked,” the paper quoted Van der  Sloot as saying of Flores’ killing. “I’ll explain later how it all happened.” Of course he will explain “later” because he needs time in his criminally sick mind to make up a plasuble sounding story.

When people tell you they will “ tell you later”, it usually means they  need the time to think about what lies they are going to make up.

PERU IS NOT GOING TO PLAY JORAN’S GAMES

Joran  may have toyed with Aruban authorities by  his giving and  and retracting admissions concerning his involvement in Holloway’s disappearance. But the Peruvians will not stand for it as we are witnessing.

Attorney Maximo Altez  who said van der Sloot’s statement in court will focus on how his rights were violated during the investigation. In my view, he  is barking up the wrong tree . Peruvian police have defended the interrogation and said van der Sloot’s confession was acquired legally.

And far as rights go, where were Stefany’s rights? Those rights- especially  her right to life- was clearly violated.

JORAN’S POOR JUDGMENT IN NOT SPEAKING TO THE JUDGE

So for now, Joran has refused to speak to the judge about the case until it is determined if he confessed with his rights intact.

I believe what he said in his confession was accurate in terms of how he killed Stefany. I believe that her injuries via the  autopsy reports will no doubt validate everything  he said.

I do not believe  for a moment that Stefany used his computer  and looked at his email without permission as to the reason why he killed her.

Wouldn’t she need a password to get into his email account?  I   believe the killed her because  she refused to have sex with him. Otherwise why would she have been found with her jeans off?

I believe that Joran’s not speaking to the judge wil result in a harsher sentence for him. He needed to admit what he did and take responsibility for his actions.

LIKE MOST SOCIOPATHS JORAN SEES HIMSELF AS THE PERPETUAL VICTIM

We can see Joran’s classic  sociopathology  clearly at work  here as he makes himself out to be the poor victim  who was forced to sign the confession of  words which he manufactured which only  came out of his own  mouth.

The Peruvian authorities didn’t put those words in Joran’s mouth. Joran put them there himself.

Joran also wants you to feel sorry for him because he now has to live with rats that come out through his toilet hole at night.

So now there are small rats in his cell and a huge one- Joran. He should feel right at home with his new pets. But he lets this information out to Da Telegraaf newspaper in an attempt to get people to feel sorry for him in his substandard living conditions.

ENABLER MOTHER ANITA PLAYS THE  VICTIM ROLE AS WELL

Anita van der Sloot  says her poor Joran was traumatized by the Natalie Holloway  ordeal and should have gotten psychiatric help but refused.“Joran is sick in his head, but he wanted no help,” his mother said.

This statement  shows how  Anita is an enabler.  Who cares whether Joran wanted that help or  not. She was the mother and needed to see to it that he got that help no matter whether Joran liked it or not. Joran was  16 or 17 at the time- an under age  boy. She refers to Joran as a  ’Sweet boy’ in the newspaper interview she did with Da Telgraaf. The operative word  here was “boy”.

Joran was  a boy and she was the adult when she needed to insist he go into therapy during the Natalie Holloway situation. She needed to have laid down some boundaries- such as “no gambling at the casinos until he had therapy.”

His father Paulus certainly  had enough pull on the island to call every casino in town and tell them to not let his son into them. He could have reinforced  the “no casino and gambling  until you get into therapy” boundary for Joran.

Then Anita  wants to evoke even more  pity on her poor Joran by starting that he blamed himself for his father’s unexpected death  earlier this year.”Two days Joran cried. He even hung over the coffin, sobbing.

It’s my fault, Dad,” he said. “I have caused your heart attack.

This behavior Joran exhibited at his father’s death  is yet another reason Anita should have insisted he get therapy to help him with his grieving. Technically, Joran didn’t cause his father’s heart attack. It was obviously caused by a malfunctioning heart. Maybe his father didn’t go to a doctor for regular checkups od maybe he had an undiagnosed heart disease.

That certainly wasn’t Joran’ fault even though the  added stress Joran caused in his father’s life may have added to stressing out his father’s heart.

As soon as Anita  noticed how severely Joran was grieving, that is when Anita needed to have put down an ultimatum to her son who immediately  moved in with her  after his father died. She needed to say “you can only move in with me if you go into therapy.”

His father was dead four months when Anita  says “But then one day he left, flying to Peru for a poker tournament” She says this in order to make herself look like a victim.”  His mother  had four months to make sure and insist he went into therapy and did not do so.

During those four months, Anita needed to bring a therapist to their home if Joran wouldn’t go. If he was having such strong guilt feelings, and was so deponent, she needed to do whatever she had to do an WOMAN UP and tke care of her son’s emotional health. I am sure if Joan’s leg was bleeding uncontrollably , she would  have taken  him for  immediate help. Likewise,  mental health was figuratively bleeding uncontrollably  and she needed to so the same thing and get him help asap.

Her final statement “If only he had listened to his mother. Then, this would have never happened,” is not only a statement which reflects her being a victim of her son’s not listening to her but said to invoke sympathy and at the same time give herself a pat on the back that she was a good mother. If  Joran’s mother  would have been more proactive and set boundaries that insisted he go into therapy and under psychiatric care, then all of this may never have happened.

JORANS PSYCH REPORT MAY GIVE CLUE AS TO WHY MOTHER ANITA  CANNOT HANDLE JORAN

After reviewing Joran’s psych report it is now even  more  understandable as to why Joran’s mother had such little control over him. The report says that Joran does not value the  female role and disrespects women.

It also stated that he gets violent when contradicted. So if his mother whom he disrespects did insist on his going in to therapy and he didn’t want to go and she persisted and argued with him about it, perhaps Anita would have ended up in the same position and Stefany Flores.Perhaps she knew better than to antagonize Joran.

That may be why she merely suggested that he go for therapy  and did not pursue it further She may have been very intimidated and afraid of what Joran would do to her. So she no doubt  kept a low profile around him.

The fact that Anita has not yet shown up in Peru speaks volumes. It says that she has clearly abandoned her son this time around. There is no doubt that Anita knows who her son is. She knows he is mentally sick as she said and knows about his temper and violence.

Now  it is clear that she wants no part of him . She has washed her hands of him and now  he is completely on his own as far as she is concerned . Daddy had died and is no longer there to help him. In Joran’s mother’s eyes , see also sees  Joran as dead and as she too is no longer there to help him   . www.drlillianglass.com

Joran Van der Sloot Manipulates and Lies To Ex- Girlfriend Who Faces Reality While Joran’s Mother Anita Still Remains in Denial

Saturday, June 19th, 2010

JORAN VAN DER SLOOT’S EX- GIRLFRIEND’S  CONFLICTED  BODY LANGUAGE ON 20/20

What was most evident about Joran Van der Sloot’s  ex girlfriend Melody Grandillo ’s body language on ABC’s 20/20 was her nervous laughter. She wasn’t smiling and laughing because she was happy. Instead, she was laughing because she was uncomfortable with her conflicted feelings.

The reason I say it was nervous laughter is because the laugh didn’t last that long. Within seconds, she soon transitioned into a serious facial expression, as she  continued to discuss Joran.

She showed body language signals that she was conflicted. On one level she had tender feelings towards her first love who wrote and told her beautiful words like her eyes being more beautiful than the stars in the sky

Her genuine smiles and tender tones indicated that she clearly had very found memories and feelings about a teenaged Joran who spoke about wanting to marry her.

On the other level, was the grim realization that Joran may have killed a young  woman who was born on the same day and in the same year as she was born-  Natalie Holloway. There was realization that he actually murdered   a young woman- Stefany Flores, who in Medody’s own words,  resembled her.

EARLY SIGNS OF SOCIOPATHY SEEN IN JORAN VIA MELODY’S DAIARY ENTRIES

In her diary which she shared with 20/20. Melody  reveals early signals of Joran’s sociopathy- his manipulation of her by saying exactly what she wanted to hear.

No doubt the early teenaged Joran learned that poetic and loving words could be used to manipulate his girlfriend sexually. Perhaps he thought that if he spoke of marriage and a future  commitment together, Melody  would be more amenable towards having sex with him.

And then there was his lying to her about his  cheating, which he did  with many other young women. Then there was her revelation of his  “not letting her go” until she believed him. He also let it be known to her how he was the victim when things went wrong.

After listening to Melody, it is evident that Joran’s aberrant behavior patterns and disrespect towards women began early on and were readily seen in his teen years.

WHY JORAN REACHED OUT TO MELODY

Based on  looking at how Melody presented  herself during the interview, she  seems like a very sweet person with a lot of caring and compassion.

No doubt, Joran picked up on this as well. In a compassionate moment Melody’s may have reached out to Joran when the Natalie Holloway incident occurred and provided him with emotional support. After all, she only experienced a loving side. She definateky repressed the side of him when he was lying and cheating on her.

But now. Joran was there to take advantage of her compassion and her seemingly compliant nature.  That is why he tried to manipulate her by telling her how he couldn’t get back to Aruba unless she helped him out with his $520 ticket. He  even texted her to send him $200.

He texts her:

“ I have some cash with me so I am fine Just lost the bank card and the ticket.  l would have liked to have been back today but the ticket is $520 but can’t do much about it such bad luck  sometimes.”

Melody was knew she was being manipulated  by  him as she said to Chris Cuomo in her 20/20 interviwe  that she didn’t send him the money because she knew it would be spent on gambling.

When Joran  realized he wasn’t getting any money from Melody,  he went after Stefany Flores, who ironically  resembled Melody.

Perhaps he was also collapsing his deep anger towards Melody on to Stefany. Perhaps for the first time in their knowing one another,  Melody did not do what he wanted by sending him money. So his intense  anger towards Melody was unleashed on to Stefany . He saw Stefany winning at the tables and looked at her as an easy financial mark and as a sexual mark as well.

We know from Melody’s diaries that she said he” wouldn’t let her go” unless Melody did what he wanted- believe him that he was innocent and not cheating on her.

It stands to reason that he would have done the same with Stefany. He even remarked in his confession that Stefany tried to leave and he wouldn’t let her do so. She wouldn’t do what he wanted her to do- most likely  have sex with him. So he killed her, took her money and ran.

I have no doubt that is what he did with Natlaie Holloway as well. This young virgin may not have wanted to go all the way with him sexually and didn’t do what he wanted her to do. So  he may have possibly choked the life out of  her  in anger like he did with Stefany. The intensity of Stefany’s injuries show extreme rage and hatred. It was bad enough that he broker her nose and choked her, but to also smother her with his shirt speaks to that intense range that perhaps he was also harboring towards Melody.

JORAN’ EARLY SOCIOPATHIC AND VIOLENT STREAK WITH HIS OWN FAMILY

Joran is no stranger to violence as we hear from his own accounts in  an Aruban  police interview when questioned about Natalie Holloway. In that interview,  he stated that he was under the care of a psychiatrist .He stated that his parents sent him to a psychiatrist for stealing 50 eros from his father.

He also that he mentioned he had a history of violence in beating up his brother.

So obviously his mother Anita and father Paulus  knew that Joran was full of problems or they  would not have sent him to a psychiatrist when he was a teen.

ANITA VAN DER SLOOT’S ENABLING  MAY BE THE REASON JORAN IS WHERE HE IS TODAY

As we read Anita van der Sloot’s recent text message to Joran’s ex girlfriend Melody, we see where Joran gets his victim attitude, his blaming, and denial skills. He gets them from mother Anita.

Anita texts Melody:

“I am not giving interviews to any American media station because I don’t trust them. Stay safe and pray for Joran. He is not the monster they like the world to see. He is traumatized, depressed an has an addiction. He is not a murderer. It stinks and feels like a big trap set up for him

Notice that she does the same thing as Joran does in blaming others – especially the press for his woes. Note her excuses for her son’s egregious behavior- that he is merely depressed and has an addiction.

Lot’s of people in the world are depressed and have addictions and do not murder others. She blames others for setting up a trap for him. She doesn’t  put any of the blame on him.

ANITA’S REVEALING INTERVIEW WITH DUTCH NEWSPAPER

In her interview with a Dutch newspaper the Telegraaf, she continues to make excuses for her son by stating the he is “ ‘sick in his head’ and was due to be admitted to a psychiatric unit before he went to Peru. She said that “Joran fled to Peru to avoid being admitted to a closed unit in a psychiatric hospital in the Netherlands”.

Specifically, she is quoted in the newspaper as saying ‘He had agreed to be admitted. Two days before he was due to leave for the Netherlands, he left the house. All he left was a note on the kitchen table.” The paper said that the note told her not to worry and he had gone to Peru for a poker tournament, she said.

She also said that she spoke to Joran shortly before he fled to Chile and he sounded very paranoid. He felt he was being ‘followed and looked at.’

She goes on to say that  Joran had been very affected by his father’s death earlier this year and felt he was responsible.

Joran has run rough shod over his enabling mother doing what he wants to do not what he is supposed to do- go to a Poker tournament in Peru instead of going to a mental hospital.

Instead of being upset that her son didn’t do what he was supposed to d-,check into the hospital, she defends his actions by saying how the poor dear boy was affected by his father’s death and how he has a mental issue.

She vehemently defended him during the Natalie Holloway days and continues to do the same thing now.

ANITA’S BLIND EYE OF DENIAL

Joran’s anger issues with women-  may have a lot to do with his relationship with his mother. Based on her  recent comments where Joran doesn’t even speak to her directly but instead, leaves a note on the kitchen table that he is going to a  Poker tournament in Peru as opposed to checking into a mental facility, speaks volumes.

It shows that there is a lack of respect  for his mother, not to mention a lack of communication between the two.

Maybe Anita learned early on to let Joran do as he pleased, because he was too much to handle. Maybe she experienced his violence first hand . Maybe she felt it was easier to let him do what he wanted and to to acquiesce to his whims,  and not fight with him and experience his wrath.

So, she  may have always turned a blind eye to his escapades. She and his father put up gambling funds for him to visit the casinos when he was a mere teenager. Maybe they felt it was easier to do that as opposed to experiencing his violent temper outbursts when he didn’t get his way.

In any event, neither her enabling actions or those of his father helped Joran as he entered adulthood. They never gave him any boundaries or tough love.

It was not just his parents who suffered his wrath if they didn’t do what he wanted them to do. Now,  if  anyone didn’t do what he wanted – he most likely let them have it.In fact many of his fellow classmates reported that he was a bully at school.

Maybe that is why one of the  Aruban brother’s,  Deepak  Kalpoe was at his disposal whenever Joran wanted a ride somewhere, no matter what time of night it was.  Maybe Deepak  felt bullied by Joran to do or say  what he wanted him to do or else. Deepak was so tied to Joran that he even lied for him saying that he dropped Natalie off at the Holiday Inn.

So when anyone especially the two women last seen by him didn’t do what he wanted, he no doubt,  bullied them. When they continued to refuse him or fought back, his violence clicked in and he ended up killing them.

It is understandable that Anita doesn’t want to admit that her son is  a murderer. That is too painful and understandably so. With that pain would come the awareness that her own enabling behavior and lack of boundaries  may have contributed to her son’s demise. So that may be why she continues to blame others and claim his innocence.

WHY HASN’T ANITA RUSHED TO PERU?

Ever since Joran was arrested,  there were reports that Anita was on a plane  headed towards Peru? But, two weeks later there is still no Anita. There was one report that she would be arriving with a Dutch television station, but that has yet to happen.

Anita can defend him all she wants in the press and blame the American’s and blame others for setting a trap for him, the fact that she has yet to show up in Peru to see him yet,  speaks volumes.

Monday Joran will have a trial or sorts  in Lima. He will be interviewed in great detail by the judge. One would think that his mother would be there for moral support, but she will most likely not be  there. Despite her defense of her son, maybe reality is slowly sinking in that she spawned an out of control  monster with a huge violent streak who hates women. www.drlillianglass.com

Cindy Anthony’s Image Is Made Over But Her Body Language Shows Signals of Deception and Denial By Refusing To Identify With Anita Van der Sloot

Wednesday, June 16th, 2010

CINDY ANTHONY’S IMAGE MAKEOVER

Outer image makeovers to make someone more attractive and likeable only work if the person is attractive and likeable on the inside to begin with. That is clearly not the case with Cindy Antony, mother of  Casey Anthony. who is accused on murdering Cindy’s grand daughter Caylee.

As I have said repeatedly, the body does not lie. Neither does the voice or speech.

You can use all the bleach you want to lighten you hair, grow  it and style it into a more feminine less   severe looking hairdo, the real you will always leak out.

You can even follow a  coache’s advice and speak in slow and soft measured tones void of anger and upset, but the real you will always emerge.

Your real voice will always leak out and so will your lies in how you move. How you sound and what you say will always give away the lies you tell.

CINDY’S  MULTIPLE SIGNALS OF DECEPTION

People are not stupid. For the most part they know if someone is telling them the truth or not.

I believe in her GMA  interview with Ashley Banfield,  Cindy was not being honest and forthright as there were so many signals of deception which leaked out when she spoke.

Her first signal of deception  was when Cindy gazed upwards  up after Ashley confronted her with You didn’t say that?”

Ashley’s question was in response to Cindy’s denial  about the  9ll tape. During the 911 tape, Cindy said that she found her daughter’s car  that was missing and  it smelled a dead body in the” damn car.

As Cindy gazes upwards as you can see in the above photo,  it is evident that she is trying to manufacture an answer that is most likely not true.

She said she lied to police when she  told them she smelled a dead body in the car in order to get police out quicker. As she said this, she not only looks up and not directly at Ashley, she shrugs her shoulder,

Her  looking  up. along with her  shoulder shrug, indicate  two huge  “tells” that show  deception.

George even knows she is lying as he looks at her with  a scrunched up facial expression showing disdain at her lie.

Suddenly, Cindy gazes looks down, also another tell of deception  and says “  there was never… I never thought that….

When people repeat words and speak in changed fragments, rest assured  they are usually lying.

Another major  tell  that indicates  she was most likely  not being truthful was that her voice pitch rose up higher  as she spoke those fragmented statements.

CINDY’S SEMANTICS

Cindy then looks straight at Ashley as she  says in a strong and full voice “ a liar doesn’t make you a murder.”

The operative word here is the word “you”. It make not make “you” at home who is  watching the show. a murderer.

But repeated lying may very well make anyone a sociopath and a sociopath has often been found to be a  murderer.

So in Casey’s  case,  using the associative property applied to Cindy’s  language,  lyingto police about her missing daughter’s whereabouts may very well make her a sociopath and also  murder.

THE REAL CINDY LEAKS OUT

When asked about Casey accusing George of molesting her, Cindy replied in measured  unemotional tones, “ I read the letters and they were hurtful.

As she says this she looks to George instead of maintaining  her direct eye contact with Ashley

As she looks at George. it may be that she may perhaps be giving him the message that what he allegedly did to Casey did indeed  hurt Cindy.

Then Cindy  is back to her old Cindy ways – in running George and speaking for him as she adds “ It was hurtful to George

GEORGE’S TELL’S OF DECEPTION

Next, without one hint of emotion, as if on cue, George  nods and does his “golly gee shucks lip pursing, chin scrunching.  I want everyone to like me,
” facial expression.  And as if it was rehearsed a hundred times says “It  still is.”

Well if  Casey did manage to eek out the truth and let it be known what George did  her- sexually molest her. then   it is even more hurtful to Casey.

Maybe what is “hurtful” to George is that Casey may have  betrayed their family secrets and in doing so, let it out for the world to know.

Then Ashley asks if what Casey said hurt him. What George does next  is very telling body language wise.

First   he shakes his head no when he should be shaking it yes and says “ I’m still gonna be there for my daughter. “  He then closes his eyes as you see in  rhe photo above  and looks down, as if to shut Casey out.

His words say one thing but his body certainly belies him.

He says “I‘m still gonna be there for my daughter.” It is said in a soft  tone that dies off at the end.

He adds “That’s unconditional love. “ Now we see his most telling tell. He shrugs his shoulders as he says these words.

This clearly indicates that he is NOT  telling the truth here.  His shoulder shrug indicates that he is not only lying to us,  but lying to himself as well.

MESSAGE TO GEORGE

Here is a reality check George Anthony. When your own daughter accuses you of sexually molesting her and if  as you say, it  isn’t true, then maybe it is high time you put  some  conditions on what you call “ love.”

On the other hand, if it is true and you did sexually molest your daughter, then you need to be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. If that is the case, it is no wonder your daughter is such a TOTAL  mess.

THE ONLY TIME CINDY SPOKE THE TRUTH

The only time anything Cindy said in the interview rang true was when she looked directly at Ashley and said how much  she misses Caylee. She said that Caylee was gone for as long as she had been alive.

You could heard the true heartfelt  emotion and grief in Cindy’s voice and see it in her face. She was clearly distraught and her emotions were genuine.

CINDY GETS BACK INTO DENIAL AND GEORGE JOINS HER

Then Ashley asks Cindy “ Are you prepared for the outcome?” Both Cindy and George look down without a hint of emotion.

To me it is apparent that they have no doubt prepared for the worst outcome but refuse to admit it.

That is when Cindy in a measured unemotional tone says that she  has
dreams where Casey as home
.

I believe that deep down Cindy knows that the only time she will ever see her daughter come home again is in her dreams. I think that this may be Cindy’s way of coping with the brutal  truth.

CINDY’S DENIAL AS SHE CAN’T RELATE TO THE MIRROR IMAGE OF JORAN VAN DER SLOOT’S MOTHER

Cindy  continued to be in denial when she told Ashley that she  identifies with Beth Twitty, the mother of Natalie Holloway, but NOT  with  Joran Van der Sloot’s mother.

I can certainly understand why she would identify with Beth  Twitty from the standpoint that they both lost daughters forever and will never see their daughters live out their lives ands share experiences together.

On the other Cindy tried desperately to draw a line with  the differences between Casey and Joran and between herself and Mrs. Van der Sloot. “

In fact she said to Ashley, “You know, there have been issues where she saw his angry side. I don’t know that of Casey. I don’t know Casey as being anybody that could hurt anybody.”

Cindy must have a very short memory. There certainly were instances where Casey went off on her mother and got very angry.

She just needs to go back and look att he jailhouse tapes. Casey is absolutely livid with Cindy. It looked as though Casey was so angry, that  if she could get through the glass partition, she may have smacked Cindy.

There has also been a reported history of violence between Cindy and Casey. In fact brother  Lee addressed it as did bounty hunter Leonard Padilla.

Casey’s anger was also directed towards her father on multiple occasions. She even told him to act like a father  for once and not a cop.

So it is clear that Cindy is in denial here. Looking in the mirror and seeing another mother who will soon face seeing her child on trial and knowing that her child may probably end up dead because of being killed in prison or dying in prison for some other reason, hits Cindy too close to the bone.

The similarities between Anita Can Der Sloot’s situation and Cindy Anthony’s situation is clearly evident.

Mainly, they have both been enablers and have let their children get away with too much for way too long.

Next. it must be excruciatingly painful  for Cindy to admit that like Anita, she too spawned a lying and  alleged murderous sociopath who destroyed her life. www.dtlillianglass.com

Shock and Wide Eyed Fear As a Non- Smirking Joran van der Sloot Enters the Reality of Prison Life in Peru

Tuesday, June 15th, 2010

SHOCK OF REALITY

The shock of reality first  set in for Joran Van der Sloot  as soon as   he was dragged out of the police van wearing what looked like a  colorful chic scarf around his neck.

It was in actuality a Peruvian blanket that would serve as his only bedding for years to come  in his new prison home.

MUG SHOT SHOWS SHOCK AND BUMPS

In looking at the  photo of his mug shot  taken as he entered the prison grounds, the most striking thing is that Joran  is minus is his arrogant and infamous smirk that we have seen in photos of him  throughout the past five years.

His mask- like expression shows that he is in a state of  shock  as  that he is now experiencing may seem very surreal to him.

In Joran’s sociopathic and narcicisstic  mind, there was no way he ever thought he would end up in this situation.  He most probably believed  that he could get away with this killing  as he got away with everything else in his past.

Also telling were the  protruding bumps on Joran’s  forehead. While he has always had a prominent glabellar region above his eyebrows, making  his forehead stick out, now there is more protrusion.

There  appear to be different sized projections emanating from his forehead , looking like  two large bumps.

We have recently disovered  that these new bumps were the result of Joran hitting his head against the wall when he was in the jail cell when first captured. That is  why he was immediately put on a suicide watch.

A COCKY, ARROGANT, AND SMUG JORAN FROM THE PAST

Below are some Joran’s  smirking moments where Joran thought he had everything under control and could get away with anything-even murder!

In this mug shot of  Joran,   his smirk shows that he  knows  he doesn’t seem to have a care in the world.  No doubt, he feels that  no one can touch him when it comes to Natalie Holloway’s death.

After all, he knows his daddy is very well connected. He believes what daddy has told him that if there is no body there is no case.

Since he and his daddy no doubt had a hand in  disposing  Natalie’s  body in a place where it will never be found, he is not concerned that anything will ever happen to him. His facial expression reflects calmness and self confidence about the matter.

In the photo above,  Joran is telling Patrick in an undercover video  sting that  “she ((Natalie Hollwoway) was not moving anymore. “

Note his  relaxed as well as sadistic facial expression as he says this. It seems as though  he is recalling in his mind the  ” exciting”  moment for him when  he may have possibly choked her to the point  she was no longer moving.

Here we really see evidence of Joran’s  sadism.

As he says ” she will never be found again” Joran  leaks out a huge smirk of satisfaction- complete with visible cheek creases.

In this undercover photo he appears  very content with himself with the  that he got away with killing someone and that no one will ever find the body.

In this photo of Joran with the Kalpoe brothers you can really see his arrogant anc cocky look with his head tilted,  reflecting in is mind  that he no doubt, believes  he is far smarter and superior to any other living being.

In this surveillance photo as he gets his key from the front desk before killing Stefany  Flores,we see his sadistic smirk once again.

If he was just being friendly and polite and smiling to the clerk to handed him his room key, we would see an eyebrow flash where his eyebrows would be raised in recognition.

We would see more teeth  when he smiled. Instead, we see a sadistic smirk which indicates that he may have known what he was about to do with Stefany- rob her and kill her.

STILL THINKING HE WILL GET AWAY WITH MURDER

Above, when Joran was  arrested in Peru, we even see  his relaxed and self confident facial expression, complete with  his cocked head to the side .

His cocked  head and facial expressiojn n  indicate that  he has no doubt in his mind t that he will get away with murder.

At this point, he  feels confident that authorities will believe his concocted stories about an unidenfied armed robber accosting him and Stefany and  hiding out  in his hotel room, waiting to kill Stefany.

ALL OVER JORAN IN A PHYSCIAL WAY

In various  photos of Joran , like the one above ,   it was  not  uncommon in his past  to see Joran  with various  people’s hands touching him and  grabbing him, and with their arms entwined  around him .

For years, people seemed to have gravitated towards this manipulative sociopath,  like a magnet.

After all,  he had  many  superficial qualities that would seem to make someone like him seem  desirable to others  - a prominent wealthy  family, academic intelligence, athletic ability , no finaial worries, charm, and a strikingly good appearance,  combined with a gift of gab.

I am almost certian that in his new Peruvian prison environment it will also be the case where people will not be able to keep their hands off  of  him.

In fact there may be so many  hands on him., inclusing the hands of  those who may often gang up on this six foot three “monster” and have their way with him sexually.

Others may not be able to keep their hands off of him as they punch,  stab, slice, or dice  him for killing someone’s innocent daughter and robbing her.

GENUINE FEAR AND PROCESSING HIS NEW REALITY

In this photo we see the genuine look of fear in Joran’s face as we see the whites of his eyes.

He tightly purses his lips and opens his eyes wide, as he visually takes in all that is in front of him.His tightly closed lips indicate that he doesn;t want to take any more of this horrific scenery in, but he has no choice.

His eyes  bugging out  of his head indicate that he  looks very much  afraid.

There was also a slight lick of his lips, which often happens when the autonomic system takes over during fear, It dries  up the  membranes. Joran has licked his lips becuase no dount,  his  mucus membrances in his lips have  suddently become dry.

As Joran is being escorted to his prison cell, he  suddently looks to the side to  get a glimpse of the landscape he has definately not seen while he was  sightseeing in Peru.

Once again,  he is taking it all in and processessing what is really happening to him. He looks very upset and disturbed as he has to face what is in front of him.

Finally this photo shows that Joran is getting a major reality check. Gone are the smirks and smugness in his facial expression.

He clearly sees the seriousness of what lies ahead of him. His furrowed brow and downturned lips show that he is clearly not a happy camper.

As life in Castro Castro prison gets more and more difficult for him we can expect to never see a smirk or the smug arrogant  look on Joran’s face  ever again.

But we clearly  may have seen that  that smirk and loog of arrogtance   if he would have been housed  in an Aruban priosn instead of a Peruvian one.

He would have had every opportunity in that Aurban  prison to continue to con  and manipulte others. He would have been considered a big deal in that Aruban prison with every major advantage at finger tips .

After all, he would have  spoken the language, had  connections and money to  buy him protection and perks, had  regular visits from family members and friends and even girldfiends,  married so he could have conjugal vists if they were allowed,  been allowed to continue  with his education though correspondence courses, and most  all, he would have had  the possibility of  well connected lawyers trying to spring hm free at moment’s notice.

But in Peru at Castro Castro, no one will visit him and he will not have a well connected attorney to help spring him.

In fact his attorney in Peru just qui ton him.  He  also is at a disadvantage with the language so he can’t manipulate  his fellow prisoners as easily as he could have done in Aruba.

Now  in Peru, there are  no daddy with connections and no family money availabale for him. Apparenty, all the family money   was apparently  spent on lawyers in Aruba to defend Joran and his father Paulus when they were interrogated in jail over Natalie’s death.  That was a major reasonb why his Peruvian attoreny quit. He said int he press that there were  no funds to pay him for his services.

There also  may no be money  buy him protection  in Castro Castro  prison and no money to buy him enough food becuase no one cares about him.

He can’t buy the other prisoners food and perks in exchange for their protection becuase he has no money.

MAMMA ANITA VAN DER SLOOT MAY HAVE WASHED HER HANDS OF JORAN AS WELL

His own mother Anita has yet  to come see her son in Peru. In fact, if she does come to see him as  is reported, she will only do so  with a Dutch TV crew in tow.

This is no doubt, to  raise money for Joran’s prison stay. But even if she ends up earning a few hundred thousand dollars,  it will not be  enough money to support Joran’s lengthy   prison stay.

Even if Anita puts the money in   special fund for Joran, we  can’  be sure that Joran will receive that money or have access to it.

The fact that mamma van der Sloot didn’t show up right away to be with her son during this ordeal speaks volumes to me.

During the Natalie Holloway days, Anita  defended Joran with the ferocity of  a lioness defending  a baby  cub. She stuck by him and proclaimed his innosence to anyone who would listen.

But this time around her silence is deafening.  In additon to  her not imnmediatey showing up,  it may tell us  says that  she  is finally washing her hands clean  of this sociopath whom she spawned.

It may be possible that Anita  is now thinking of   Joran the same way she is now  forced to think about her husband Paulus as she grieves  another dead  family member.  www.drlillianglass.com
