Casey Anthony’s Body Language on Recently Released Jailhouse Tape Shows Extreme Signals of Anxiety Associated With Guilt

Sunday, October 9th, 2011

In the words of Casey Anthony “ Surprise! Surprise! ” Her body language tells during the recently released  videotape when she  discovered Caylee was found  dead, show a person who is in extreme anxiety and screams guilt!

These body language tells say it all. Casey Anthony’s autonomic nervous system is in full gear as her breathing if affected. You can physically see her chest heaving as she hyperventilate. This is the result of her respiratory system trying to oxygenate itself.

In the above photo we see her first learning Caylee’s remains were found. She is hunched over as though the wind has been knocked out of her, which is the case. Her mouth is agape, indicating surprise.

Look at her mouth. It is wide open. Her jaw has literally dropped as she finds out that she is not so clever after all and that Caylee’s  body was discovered. When people are in shock at a discovery,  the muscles holding up their jaw slacken and the lower jaw literally drops.

The expression on her face suddently turns to fear and anxiety as her jaw now tightens and her brow area tenses. She holds on to her arm for self comfort and self protection and support.

In this photo we see the extreme  extent of her anxiety and her feeling vulnerable as she literally throws her head back and exposes her throat. When someone does that it is a huge sign of guilt.   You often see this position when someone is caught at something they should not have done or they are exposed. It is  a common body language positon seen in failed suicide bombers who are caught in the act.

Casey holds on to herself tightly as if to protect herself. Her feet begin to move as though she wants to get out of there. Her legs are apart and she is hunched over as though she is resigned to her fate. Her facial expression transforms to a very serious one. She also developes a case of the itchy scratchies which means her autonomic nervous system is kicking in once again. Her capillaries  have expanded due to the anxiety. The sudden  blood flow changes create discomfort. Hench the itch and the scratch.

Here she literally  doubles over in cramp like style (which she also pulled early on during her trial). Her digestive juices are increasing, due to the high level of stress and anxiety ,which happens when people have suddently learned of  some very bad news. This often results in their physcially feeling as though they want to defacate.

Oftentimes those who are guilty who are interrogated by law enforcement, will suddently lose bowel and or bladder control. This is what happened to the Underware Bomber when he was interrogated.

Here Casey’s body language retreats into a fetal position. It is the ultimate signal of guilt. Ther person is so overwhelmed thatthey want to escape by wanting to retreat back into the womb and hide. It is a very primative and self protective body tell.

In her fetal position she   begins to self comfort by rocking her self  back and forth.  In doing so she is attempting to sooth the intense physical feeling she is no doubt experiencing. You often see this with criminals who are suddenly left alone  in the police  interrogation room as  as they are observed through video or a two way glass. It is often a signal that they most likely  had something to do with the crime.

Next we see her muscles stiffen but as she is lierally paralyzed by fear. She does not move for a long time.

Here is Casey in true form with angry raised fists  as though she wants to punch or physically  beat on somene. She is pissed off. She is angry in a major way. She is angry that the remains were found and angry at herself or at the person who  helped dispose of the body,  as Cindy has always mentioned. Was that person Lee or George? Was she angry at them for perhaps not doing a better job of hiding Caylee’s dead body?

If the jury saw this this tape Casey would have been on Death row.  This tape angers and sicken me. To me it is clear evidence that Casey is guilty

Seeing these tapes make me detest Cindy Anthony more than ever. She absolutely knew what was going on, yet she lied  on the stand and in the Dr. Phil interview to protect Casey . But what about Caylee? doesn’t her life and her memory  count for something?

Judge Perry was not the great judge in my view that has been reported by so many. I think he was thinking about his retirement and bending over backwards so there would not be a retrial and he could wash his hands of this case. I have no doubt he is thrilled it is over and he has nothing more to do with it. I find it insulting for him to have released this tape now  instead of during the trial where the jurors could have seen it.

And on the subject of Judge Perry, I am appalled  at his judgement  when he sent that mentally disturbed woman to jail for her outburst early on. She needed a verbal reprimand and then needed to be banned from the courtroom, not put in jail, especially since she had a baby to care for.

Lying and Fake Crying Lee Anthony Puts on Show For The Benefit of the Jurors

Saturday, June 25th, 2011

Lee burst out crying when he said he was angry that he as not told about   Casey;s pregnancy . He  was upset that he was kept out and they ignored him. It seemed a bit contrived  to me, It seemed overly dramatic and as though he was doing it for the jury’s benefit. Why would he cry about not being told about Casey;s pregnancy. Why didn’t he cry about a dead Caylee?  His tears and outburst of a  grunt was done purposely in my view. The tears  were non  liquid and he wiped them just like Casey and Cindy wipe their non tears. This guy has been on the stand for three years and has only giggled and laughed and scratched, He never cried until there was a jury present. And then he cried over such a lame thing. . It sounded unbelievable and a jury will feel like he is trying to manipulate them. No one like to see tears unless they are genuine and that the person is crying for a good reason. There was no good reason for Lee’s  waterworks.

Lee lies on the stand with relation to Casey’s pregnancy. He  admits in court that he said to Casey  ” What the hell is that? in reference to Casey’s pregnancy. Then it was pointed out Ashton by  that he said earlier ” It wasn’t really my place,He  als”o admitted his lie by stating that he  spoke not  directly to her.”  In essence he showed that he lied.

He appeared angry as he said that the parents were over the top about the pregnancy and  and he said he was upset he was not allowed to be involved.    He felt he had supportive role because his smom said to let it go; Why in the world would Cindy tell him to let it go and not speak about the pregnancy and keep him out of the loop?

It is very odd. He is Caylee’s  uncle and you would think that you would want all family members involved. But what if Cindy thought Lee was the father of Caylee at the time and wanted him as far away as possible?

I am also wondering why the DNA witness said she tested Lee;s DNA indicated he was not the father  did not say that she tested  George’s DNA and that he  was ruled out to be the father. Ia Baez  saving that information for later?  What did George’s DNA find? He certainly acted like he baby daddy by showing up in the birthing room at the hospital. It was also odd that he did not even ask who Caylee’s father was when he found out she was pregnant.

Did he already know who the father was? Was he the father? Did Cindy think he was the father? Is that why Cindy insisted on such control over Caylee? Did George molest Casey as a child and as an adult? Only the two of them know for sure. At any rate, we will soon discover the results of the DNA test and whether George is or is not the biological father.

Lee’s testimony showed us  that his whole sick family is in denial with control freak Cindy at the helm. How can Cindy know Casey is pregnancy  until 7th month? Did Cindy  know? If she told  Lee to butt out when he first asked about the pregnancy when Casey picked him up from the airport  and then months passed and there was no mistake that Casey was pregnant, it shows Cindy MUST have known prior to seven months. Also Caylee was not premature as Cindy said.

Just look at the size of Caylee in the photo above . She doesn’t look like a preemie. Casey can barely hold her she is so big. Maybe Casey lied as to when she got pregnant. Maybe she had no idea when she got pregnant.

When Jeff Ashton asked What was different  about the way the emotion with which you answered  the same question two years ago only this time you answered with  such raw emotion, Lee gave a lame answer. He said that he didn’t believe Caylee was not alive.  Yet he presided over the memorial ceremony and he knew that the bones and remains were Caylee’s. So could he not know?

TEACHING CINDY A LESSON FOR SAYING CASEY WAS A BAD MOTHER BY KILLING CAYLEE

When Lee shared that Casey said Zanny told   her  that she  was taking Caylee because she wasnt a good mother and  that she was going to teach her a lesson. Casey was revealing a great deal about what was going on in her own mind. In essence she was parroting back the exact words Cindy said to her about not being a good mother. She also was going to teach Cindy a lesson . To me that speaks volumes as to motive. To me it says Casey got rid of Caylee to teach Cindy a lesson because Cindy kept telling Casey what a bad mother she was.

Perhaps Casey purposely drowned Caylee and convinced herself it was an accident. Perhaps she chloroformed her.  Perhaps she broke her neck. Perhaps she smothered her. Whatever she did, she did something to teach Cindy a lesson because Cindy kept telling her what a bad mother she was. Now she would make sure she was bad mother by killing Caylee.

When Lee  described  Caseys description of  Zanny it wa shockingly similiar to River Cruz- dark complected, long hair, Hispanic, average height. That makes me wonder if George, knowing about Casey’s description set forth to find a Zanny type to pin the murder on. That may be why George sought out River and had an affair with her.Perhaps he was trying to set her up. We will find out more when River Cruz testifies. www.drlillianglass.com

Casey Anthony and Jose Baez Keep Their Distance As Casey Enters Courtoom

Saturday, June 25th, 2011

There is severe tension between Casey and her attorney Jose Baez,This photo speaks volumes. Usually Casey has leaned into Baez”s direction whenever she seats herself. Here, she literally gives him the cold shoulder.

Baez ignores her as Casey does her nervous grooming in adjusting her overly large sweater. Casey is feeling tense and a bit angry  as you can tell by her muscle  tension her jaw region right under her ear.

Casey turns away from Jose and purses her lips in frustration. Although she looks over in the direction of Ms. Simms, there is no connection between the two. Also there is a great deal of physical distance between Casey and Baez as you can see.

Casey can’t seem to stand the rejection  and the tension between she and Baez. As a result , she sneaks a peak.  You can see the tension in Casey’s lips and lower jaw which reflects the tension she is feeling towards Baez.

Gone the days of laughter, big smiles,  and coquettishness between the two. Gone are the days of whispers and  secret  nonverbal communication between the two. And finally, gone  are the days  of  Baez believing  his client.

It seems that everyone with whom Casey has come in  direct contact  has become suffered. This includes Jesse Grund, Tony Lazzaro, ,her friend Amy Huizinga,  her parents and Lee,  her grandparents, and of course Caylee. Now Jose Baez appears to be the latest victim ( a lot of his own doing) with possible fines and sanctions.

Because Casey is a self-described “spiteful bitch” I wonder what she will do to Baez if things do not turn out favorably for her. Will she claim inept counsel or sexual harassment?  Could that be why Jose is now keeping his distance from Casey? www.drlillianglass.com

Casey Anthony Fakes Tears Until Animals Gnawing On Caylee’s Bones Were Mentioned

Sunday, June 12th, 2011

Casey Anthony continued to  bow her head as the doctor on the stand discussed the skull. Casey has a folded Kleenex positioned under her nose which she refused to move.It is so contrived that it is comical to look at.

When the Anthropologist Dr. Schultz arrived on the stand, Casey looked on with objective interest as you can see in the photo above.

It is interesting to note that seeing the skull has no doubt taken it’s toll on Casey Anthony. She looks more gaunt  after she had her anxiety attack yesterday. Most likely she did not feel like eating dinner after seeing photos of the frightening looking skull.

As soon as photos were shown of the skull , Casey immediately tuned away and placed her folded hankie under the nose.

According to  reporter Kathi Bellich the photos of the skull are gruesome. Strands of hair drape across eye sockets. Teeth missing except  for the molars (back teeth) .  The hair matted. Duct tape layered across face. Apparently, Casey had initially stared at the photos and showed no reaction.

As Casey continued to fake cry with her dry Kleenex, Attorney Simms on her team who is known to cross examining experts has now been related to the official role of surrogate mother and comforter  and emotion coach to Casey. As soon as an emotional reaction should occur, she puts her arm around Casey. Casey  then immediately puts a tissue up tp her face.

The jury HAS to see this as  phony and insulting behavior.  Casey does  leak out expressions of upset  and anger periodically. No doubt she is upset that she is being forced to listen to testimony about  Caylee’s skull and bones.

Suddenly the anthropologist mentions that the animals gnawed on Caylee’s bones.  For the first time, we see Casey break down for real. She is beside herself  and the veins in her neck pop out. She turns red and is flushed. Suddenly the Kleenex is crinkled.

This is no doubt the very first time that Casey Anthony has had to see the consequences of her actions. She now saw the consequences of putting duct tape over the child’s  nose mouth and throwing her dead body in the woods.  For the first time ever, she saw and heard the consequences of what happens when a body is thrown away-animals ea tit and gnaw on the bones.

I believe that those horrific words and that visual of seeing what animals did to Caylee’s remains will haunt her for the rest of her life. There is no one to soothe her when these images begin to surface in the middle of the night. Ms. Simms won’t be there and neither will her parents or Lee. Casey will be left all alone to deal with the consequences of her actions, which   may be  her worse torture yet. www.drlillianglass.com

Credible Yet Nervous and Scratching Lee Anthony Ignores Sister Casey

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

Gone are the “I love you’s” for CMA. Gone are the bright smiles towards Casey. When Lee took the stand, Casey smiled but brother Lee ignored her.  How could he look at someone who literally ruined his life forever? How does he prove that he didn’t molest his sister? He will have to carry that burden for the rest of his life.

We have seen from Lee’s depo tape and from his pre trial behavior that he inappropriately  laughs a lot when he is nervous or uncomfortable. That is why it is important to do a baseline analysis before you read a person’s body language to find out their particular body language quirks.

When Lee said that he came over to his mother’s house because she asked him to  and then laughed as he said it, it was a passive aggressive way of saying “you do what Cindy says.” It was also odd that Cindy did not tell him that Casey was  not saying where Caylee was .It showed that the communication between mother and son isn’t that great.

While Lee only laughed a handful of times out of nervousness, he certainly scratched himself a lot while he was on the stand.

  He scratched his neck.

He scratched his right cheek.

He scratched the side of his nose.

He scratched his lower jaw.

He scratched the top of his head.

And he scratched the left side of his head.

When someone has a case of the itchy scratchies it usually means they are experiencing anxiety or nervousness. The autonomic nervous system causes more blood flow so there is often an accompanying itching sensation. Depending on the context of what is asked or said, it can also reflect deception. But in Lee’s case it appeared to be a signal of nervousness.

The bottom line was that Lee sounded credible and forthright when he spoke and has clearly broken his bond with his sister and will no longer protect her.

POLICE TESTIMONY SPOKE VOLUMES ABOUT GEORGE

Perhaps the most powerful aspect of today;s testimony in my view came from the police officers who came to the Anthony home as a result of Cindy calling 911. Cindy said it smelled like  there was a dead body in the car and that is why the police showed up in the first place. Even though the lead officer smelled a  strong foul odor from the open trunk, he did not order  the CSI Unit to do an investigation on the car. Surely a senior officer would know how a dead body smelled. Did he slip up and make an error?

The other interesting thing was hearing both officers describe Cindy’s , George’s, and Casey’s demeanor. Cindy was understandably wild and angry and upset while both George and Casey were cool, calm and collected.

According to Lee, George didn’t even come into the room when Cindy and Lee were trying to get information out of Casey. He was distant and detached. That seems odd to me. It makes me wonder if he knew something. Did he know Casey was dead all along?

Here is a man who has proclaimed that Caylee was the love of his life and  even had a tattoo put on his chest to honor her.  How is it that he had not seen his grand daughter in 31 days,  and now retreats? Apparently he had never been away from Caylee for a day and now she is gone 31 days and he doesn’t put in his two cents and ask one question of his daughter or insist on knowing Caylee’s whereabouts ?

Something doesn’t make sense to me here. I don’t buy it that he retreated because Cindy was loud and emotional and Lee was there . Why was he so uninvolved? Could this information about George’s uninvolved  behavior create reasonable doubt with some of the jurors?  Will they wonder if Jose Baez’ theory  is true- that  George knew about the drowning of Caylee?  After all, this is an ex policeman. You would think that he would at least ask a question of his own daughter. Was he intimidated by his daughter? Did she have something over him like a sexual molestation secret? Will any of the jurors wonder about that? If I was on the jury I would be upset by Georges uninvolvement  and lack of communication and  his   not trying to get to the bottom of Casey’s story.

The more a jury hears  about everyone’s demeanor and body language, the easier it will be to reach a proper conclusion as to what really happened to Caylee. www.drlillianglass.com

Seeing a Distraught Cindy Anthony Elicits Sadistic Pleasure For Casey

Thursday, June 2nd, 2011

There was nothing more heart wrenching than seeing Cindy Anthony’s agony as she heard the 911 audiotape in the courtroom.

What was  even more shocking was Casey’s reaction to her distraught mother. She looked curiously at her mother with sadistic pleasure at her mother’s pain. The curiosity  can be seen by Casey’s cocked head to the side.  There was no empathy and no facial reaction. It was  a detached look  as though a stranger was observing at another stranger in a bad car accident.

She even tries to mimic Cindy’s emotion but can’t seem to get it right. She furrows her forehead but the rest of her face hasn’t quite caught up with the emotion. If you cover Casey’s forehead and look at the rest of her face, you see the incongruity. It is as though she cannot synch up the right facial expression with the corresponding and proper emotion.

As Cindy cried  on the stand, Casey  gave  mixed looks of  curiosity , anger, and annoyance as we can see above.

As her mother is genuinely  distraught, Casey tries to mirror her mother’s emotion but fails miserably.

Casey attempts to  cry as well . But there is no facial expression to indicates sadness . She merely wipes nothing under her eye. Actually, she sticks her thumb under her eye. There is no liquid and no tears. This convinces me that Casey is not capable of genuine empathy.

As Cindy buries her head in her hands,  Casey looks on with an odd curiosity.

She appears to enjoy the pain she sees her mother experiencing. We see her cold icy stare as she studies her mother on the monitor located  in front of her.

Cindy leans away, looks down. and holds her hand over her mouth to hold back her emotions as she hears how rude and nasty Casey was when she spoke to her friend Christina and urged her to give Tony’s number.

Cindy and the jury heard how  rudely Casey  spoke to Cindy and how nasty she was to Lee and to  friend Christina. Even though she called her friend many terms of endearment, Casey’s  tone was anything but endearing. Instead, it was monotone, cold, and agitated when she didn’t get what she wanted. There was no sympathy at all when it came to any discussion of Caylee.

In light of what Casey is accused - killing Caylee, this particular tape will be one of the most damning pieces of evidence in my view.  Her voice on the tape along with her words show a cold, calculating, selfish, manipulative, heartless creäture. It shows how ugly she spoke to her mother and how disrespetful she was to Cindy. This will not endear her to any jury member.

Hearing those tapes int he courtroom shook Cindy to the bone. Not only did she have to relive her own pain and panic in  listening the 911 tape,  but listening to Casey’s  jailhouse tape gave her new insight into her daughter. As Christina cried about Caylee and showed emotion, Cindy  heard the opposite when Casey spoke. She heard a  cold and heartless person who cared more about boyfriend Tony’s phone number  than she did about her missing child.

Cindy was so distraught that she had to be assisted off the stand by her attorney Mr. Lippman. She fell into George’s arms for comfort  when she reached the back of the courtroom where George was waiting.

What happened next was unbelievable. Casey’s entire team of lawyers huddled around her and essentially told her to show emotion. The reason I am convinced of this is because a stone faced Casey immediately put her finger up to her eye to wipe a non tear as she  she put a Kleenex up to her nose. In essence, her team was coaching her to cry.

Jose Baez was beside himself. We see him looking up to the heavens as though he is saying some sort of prayer like “God, help me!” Or  perhaps he is having  the following conversation: “Why me? Why do I have to defend this sociopath who has no feelings and doesn’t even know how to cry?  I tried to help spare her life but it is  clearly not working. She’s a dead woman walking! It’s all in your hands now.”

Even Casey’s staunch supporter who said publicly how he likes Casey and how intelligent she is, appears to be taken aback by Casey’s response,  or shall I say, non response when Cindy was on the stand. He distances himself from Casey physically as you can see in the photo. Not  only does he sit away from her, he leans away from her.  With his cocked head to the side, he looks at her as  though as she was some type of odd  zoo animal. Cheney has finally seen his client in action and appears shocked by what he has observed.

And poor substitute momma/ babysitter  Ms. Simms has the lovely job of trying to humanize this robotic sociopath.  While she has her arm over Casey’s shoulder in an attempt  to comfort her,  the reality is that Ms. Simms hates the position into which she has been thrust. Look at Ms. Simm’s   angry clenched fist. It says it all!  www.drlillianglass.com

Casey Anthony’s New Look And Body Language and Seriousness of Judge Perry

Sunday, May 22nd, 2011

It seems that Jose Baez and the defense team may be taking my blogs to heart when it comes to Casey as there has been a dramatic change in Casey both dress wise and in her courtroom body language and demeanor.

There has been a dramatic shift in her appearance from Day 1 to Day 11.

From an image point  view Casey looks  much better in the black pants complete with matching black flat ballet type shoes. It gives her a more mature look. The black top underneath with the ruffles work. Image wise it says a lot. Black speaks of mourning. Even if she isn’t mourning for Caylee, she is mourning for herself and that at least keeps it real.

If she wore  a black suit jacket with the blouses she has underneath them it would be a sign of respect on her part and  would also distance her from the party girl image.

Her hair also looked much better – away from her face and de-Snookied. She looked serious and ready to face her jurors without a manipulative baby style that would subconsciously anger jurors.

Casey deserves a fair trial and if she keeps dressing as she did when the jurors were sworn in, along with a black jacket to go with her black pants, I believe she is  more likely to get that fair trial. As she keeps it real, the jury can focus on what is really important and not be prejudiced by her look or appearance or, behavior.

On day one, Casey cried like a baby and she didn’t look at the jurors. Whether Jose said or didn’t say to Casey to not act like a two year old, the bottom line is that she got it that the baby behavior would not be tolerated by him. As a result she bucked up.

As the jurors were being sworn in, she looked  directly at  all of them and she didn’t cry.  But, it  may be too little too late for some of the jurors who  may remember their first impression of her of not  looking at them.

This time around, her behavior was appropriate. She looked directly at the jurors. The reality of her situation began to  set in.

The only time she flinched a bit was when she rose and  they walked out of the jury room. She could see concrete evidence that these 12 people had her life in their hands.

She also seemed a lot more comfortable, once again sitting  between Mason and Baez.

The outburst at the trial by the woman who was mentally ill  appeared to surprise  Casey as it did everyone else. The woman was lucky that she just got 2 days in jail instead of the 179 days. The whole incident was sad and sickening to watch, especially as she nervously  plead her case to Judge Perry. She obviously had no business  being in the courtroom.

Personally I thought she should have just been admonished and pay a fine because of her condition. I felt sorry for her especially when she was up there terrified and shaking and couldn’t speak. But no doubt Judge Perry felt he had to make an example of her. After all, she did  a really bad thing which could have done irreparable harm  to the case. It seems that due to her condition and medications she may not have her filters working well so she burst out whatever was on her mind.

Maybe this incident will help her to get more sorted out in her life. No doubt someone in the media will interview her after she gets out of jail and perhaps pay her  for an interview or  even give her a licensing fee for photos of her  two year old Apparently  it has been reported that the  Anthony’s  have  made money this way-selling photos of Caylee to the media.

Maybe  the press will spin the story as the ” outburster”  being  a sympathetic character who couldn’t contain her own emotions because she too was a mother of a 2 year old and could never hurt her child. So  there may silver lining for her after all.

ATTENDING THE CASEY ANTHONY TRIAL AT YOUR OWN RISK

What  happened in the courtroom was a preview of  what could happen to anyone sitting  in the audience. If  citizen, a   journalist or reporter whispers or makes any comments that can be heard  or  makes facial expressions, they could not only be booted out of the courtroom, they could be fined and sentenced as well. If  you come to the trial,  it is  at your own risk. So mind your behavior.

Judge Perry already warned about people in the gallery making facial expressions when witness testimony would be given. That particularly applies to George and Cindy who requested being in the courtroom throughout the trial, even though they were both witnesses as well.

Early on, George  had  been seen shaking his head “no” and mugging and smirking “ when Yuri Melich was on the stand. If he pulls that behavior again, Judge Perry will not stand for it. If he does it, we may very well see George getting thrown out of the courtroom, admonished, fined, and perhaps  sentenced as well. The same applies to Cindy as well.It may be  especially very very hard for her to contain herself as she hears Jose and his team throw her and George and Lee under the bus for being such poor parents.

Judge Perry does not want this overt expression because he does not want the jury to be influenced in any way.

Casey Anthony Didn’t Respond for 31 Days and a Dysfunctional Family Is No Excuse

Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011

The defenses’ argument that Casey Anthony didn’t respond for 31 days due to “family dysfunction” and that Casey  feared her father’s violence and mother’s wrath is completely lame in my view. No jury will buy it in my estimation. Even if that is the case, they will wonder why she didn’t go to brother Lee or to one of her friends or boyfriends.

They will especially not buy that “fear of coming home and telling her parents because she feared their wrath” excuse. After  looking  at the Jailhouse tapes of Casey and her parents, they will clearly see  that it is SHE who runs them, not vice versa. She is the one in control.

Her father George even point-blank tells his daughter she is in control. If they read his jailhouse letters he sent to her, they will see him literally begging for her to see him. This once again indicates that it is Casey who is in control.

GEORGE???

George has been an absentee non- involved father it appears,  based on her comments to him “ Act like a father for the first time in you life.”  If she feared George’s violence, she would never have spoken to him like that.

Yes, George may very well have a temper when pushed to his limit as we saw him on the lawn of his own home when he reacted violently. But under the circumstances, it is not difficult  to understand his outbursts when people were on his property and name calling. All of the shame, embarrassment and trying to keep it all together finally got to him.

Just because he may have shoved a few protesters does not mean he beat up on Casey and that she feared his violence towards her. If that were the case, as soon as she was in the home, he may have let her have it when she refused to say where Caylee was located.

Did he molest her? That may very well be a possibility. But that still wouldn’t account for her waiting 31 days to come home or to tell what happened to Casey. Apparently, when her father encountered her and spoke to her about the gas tanks she said something vulgar to him. If someone fears you, they don’t mouth off to you because they are petrified of what the person  may do to you.

If Casey claims that George beat her and also beat Caylee and she was saving Caylee from George, this will be the lamest thing she can ever say.

Caylee was the one who brought joy into George’s life. He has been the one who has grieved the most for Caylee it appears.   From the tattoo of Caylee over his heart and the sincere body language and communication in terms of how he discusses her, he clealry adored her.  It doesn’t make sense that he would do Caylee any harm. There is no motive in my view. Why would he destroy the only one thing in his life that brought him joy. Since he had no job, it wasn’t his work that brought him joy. It certainly was not Cindy that brought him joy  based on what we have seen of them and what we have heard of their past troubles.

 CINDY???

As far as fearing Cindy, there was no question that  Cindy would no doubt  yell and scream and carry on as we have all seen her do. But Casey was the one  in control in that relationship as Cindy enabled her as Cindy  constantly covered for her,  just as she is doing  now .

Casey  was so in control over Cindy that she manipulated her by not telling her she dropped out of school and didn’t have a job and that there was a Zanny the Nanny . It was a “cat and mouse”  type of game Casey played with Cindy  for years to “get one over” on her.

There is no doubt that Casey detested Cindy for trying to control her and Caylee. While you can see that controlling behavior of Cindy’s  in the jailhouse tapes when Cindy says to Casey to look up so she can see Casey’s eyes. But then you can also see Casey’s hatred and sadism towards Cindy when Cindy was crying and Casey was laughing. Caey  says to her father, “What is this one crying about?” Casey was loving that she got Cindy upset. She was loving the control she was having over Cindy just as she loved the control by punishing Cindy for threatening to throw her out and keep Caylee.

Casey made sure that she would have the final control over her not being thrown out and cindy keeping Caylee by taking Caylee from the  home and never returning with her. Casey knew this would devastate Cindy. Caylee had never been away from George and Cindy for less than a day, so for Cindy to not make calls  to law enforcement and try to find Casey and Caylee after 10 days, let alone 31 days speaks volumes. It speaks to Cindy’s  stubbornness and pride and her own disdain towards Casey.

Having said all of this, even though she and Cindy had a dysfunctional relationship, there was no excuse for her to not tell Cindy right away. In fact,  the sooner  she told Cindy, the sooner she would havesadistic joy at seeing Cindy in pain over the loss of Caylee. But it  was Casey’s attempt to remain in control and to figure out what to do to explain away what she allegedly did to Caylee.

LEE?? FRIENDS?? BOYFRIENDS????

Even if she detested and feared her parents, what about good old brother Lee? Apparently she loved him. After all, as she said on her facebook page, he was the coolest brother one could have. Why couldn’t she tell him during those 31 days?  She certainly didn’t fear him as we can see from the jailhouse tapes. Until recently, when she discovered that he had manipualted her for law enforcement, she thought he was her biggest ally.

And then there was her best friend Amy Huizinga and her other friends and the myriad of men. Why couldn’t she confide in them?

It was because she was  in the process if concocting her kidnap Zanny the Nanny story to explain what happened to Caylee and not have anyone point the finger at her allegedly doing away with Caylee. It was to work on the  story that it was someone else’s fault Caylee went missing- not hers.

There was no doubt that Casey  was in her  own world of denial and passive aggressiveness. This wasn’t the first time Casey displayed her denial and passive agressiveness. She definately displayed it when she was pregnant with Caylee and didn’t  tell her mother until she was well along in her prgnanacy. Cindy had no idea Casey was pregnant and even told her own brother Rick Plesea that Casey was a virgin, after  he confronted Cindy about Casey’s weight gain. Casey obviously does not deal with things right away and apprentlhy hopes the problem will just disappear on its own just like she did in this case with Caylee.

The longer that Caylee was  not around, the  longer Casey didn’t have to think about her parents or Caylee . The longer she could spend partying and having fun in the moment. We saw it when she partied and got” Bella Vida”  tattooed without thinking of Caylee.

After all, why should she?  In Casey’s abberant thoughts , Caylee was nothing but a huge burden to her. She didn’t even want Caylee  in the first place and allegedly thought so little of her, that  when she allegedly did away with Caylee,  she threw her  dead body into a garbage bag, just  like a piece of trash.

Her motives to do away with Caylee were strong.

  1. Caylee kept her bonded and connected to her mother Cindy whom she detested.
  2.  Caylee interfered with her social night  life.
  3.  Caylee interfered with her daily life of doing whatever she was doing when she wasn’t working.
  4. Caylee interfered with her sex life, her boyfriends and spending time with them.
  5. Caylee interfered with all the attention that was supposed to go to her.
  6. Caylee was a vehicle to be used to  hurt Cindy.
  7. Caylee was a source of competition which she resented.
  8. All the money that was spent on Caylee. her clothes and toys could have been spent on Casey.

The bottom line is that the defense will not succeed  if they present their theory of Casey’s fear of her parents to a jury. They  will  simply wonder why she didn’t get help from someone else if she was  so afraid of her parents. www.drlillianglass.com

Jury Consultant for Casey Anthony on 48 Hours Did “Focus Group” Not “Mock Trial” Which May Have Found Her Guilty Instead of Her Being Acquitted

Monday, April 18th, 2011

After observing the  48 hours piece on Casey Anthony  andc her upcomi9ng trial. I noticed that the show used a lot of early footage from a previous 48 hours which was done  before Caylee’s bones were discovered. The reason they most likely  aired it  again  in my view,  and just added a few elements like Linda Baden’s opinion and the focus group by Richard Gabriel,  was simple – ratings and sweep season.

Sweep season is the time of year when shows and networks do everything in order to garner huge ratings. If they do get the ratings during April and May, they get top advertising dollar for their show. So in my view that is why viewers saw the show again.

ISNT LINDA KENNY BADEN SUPPOSED TO REMAIN SILENT AS A FORMER ATTORNEY FOR CASEY?

As far a Linda Kenny Baden is concerned, isn’t she supposed to remain quiet as a former attorney for Casey? Aren’t  attorneys supposed to never speak about a client or their case if they are no longer representing the person? Aren’t there some ethics that they have to abide by in this regard? Personally, since she was a member of the defense team in the past, she has no business discussing the case, especially on the air.

I could understand it is she was a legal commentator and it wasn’t a case she was involved with, but to me it verges on being a bit unethical. She admitted that Casey lied and then on the next breath said there was no DNA on the duct tape and that it didn’t have Casey’s or Caylee’s DNA on it. Of course it wouldn’t have anyone’s DNA on it if it was underwater for months and months and eaten by animals and plant growth was on it.

The fact that duct tape was anywhere near Caylee says enough to me if I was a juror.  It wouldn’t matter if it had Caylee or Casey’s DNA on it. Just the fact that it was near her and that the  child was dead would make me put two and two together in  terms of what Casey did with that duct tape in relation to Caylee.

Then when Linda admitted Casey lied and was so nonchalant about it, I found it appalling. She in essence said, so what if Casey lied!  That doesn’t mean that if she lied,  she murdered Caylee. Well,  Ms. Baden, it also can mean that if she lied, she didn’t NOT murder Caylee.  Casey didn’t just lie to a boyfriend or to her parents. She lied to law enforcement which is HUGE! She send them on a wild goose chase which is HUGE!!!! A jury will hate that!

FOCUS GROUP IS NOT A MOCK TRIAL OR A REAL TRIAL

I thought that the focus group was  very misleading to viewers. It  gave the impression that a  mock trial was done and Casey was not found guilty of first degree murder. This was only a focus group . It was was NOT  a mock trial. The focus group evidently acquitted  her of first degree murder. All of  those in the  focus group  gave her involuntary manslaughter. They said it was an accident and that poor Casey was afraid to tell anyone or call her parents.

In a real trial it is essential to know who is on that jury. Who were the people on this jury? Were they  young single mothers who identified with Casey? Were there people who didn’t get along with their parents? Were there any men who may have an affinity for Casey?

JURY SELECTION

During jury selection these perspective jurors will be asked a multitude of questions before they are accepted by BOTH sides to serve on the jury. Baez and Gabriel will want to choose people who were young single moms, girls who like to party or partied hearty in the past, non educated people white single men in their 20’s,attractive young women and men, non religious people, people who have had problems with their parents  in the past and still do, people who have been sexually molested in the past, people who have not been that responsible in their lives.

The prosecution will want scientific type people, educated people who don’t have any difficulty understanding the English language, Latinos (who tend to be very family oriented), strong Black women who are no nonsense, men and women tend to be very family oriented, people with no parental issues, no sexual molestation or abuse issues, responsible people, professionals, single  mothers who work and have a job.

When you do jury selection it is not based on political correctness. Instead, it is often based on cultural  behaviors of certain sex , educational,  racial, and ethnic groups as well as behavioral manifestations. To be a great jury consultant you have to know people from all walks of life and how they most likely think.

Richard Gabriel is a  very good jury consultant as he has done it for many years and even wrote a book on the subject. That is why I am very concerned about him. He will choose the very best jury to benefit Casey, just as he chose the best focus group which acquitted Casey.

The prosecution needs to be up to par with Gilbert or even better and one step ahead of him. Unfortunately the prosecution has decided to not use a jury consultant as they want to do this on their own because of budgetary and who knows what else reason. Those in charge of the attorneys have naively stated that they want to treat the Anthony case just like they treat their other homicide cases in Central Florida and not get caught up in the media frenzy.

Personally I think they are being extremely naive. This is the case of the century besides OJ .  This case requires a LOT of special attention especially since they have Richard Gilbert on the defense team . If they get someone locally do help them out they will be doing themselves a huge disservice. They need someone equal to or savvier than Gilbert who can really read people and who can make sure that someone has not leaked into the jury box who with certain prejudices  which may be harmful to the prosecution and justice being served.

You not only need jury selection expertise who need someone in the courtroom for two months of the trial who is looking at each of the jurors and scrutinizing them when you examine and cross examine the witness to see how they are perceiving you. You need to see which juror is with you and which ones aren’t. Only an astute jury consultant can tell you what is really going on.

A JURY WILL NOT LIKE CASEY REGARDLESS OF THE EVIDENCE WHICH MAY SUPPORT HER CASE

Casey cannot control her behaviors. Her arrogance and aberrant behaviors will surface just as they surfaced every time  she appeared in the courtroom thus far.

We have all seen her up close and personal and frankly she is not likeable. They will also detest Cindy when she gets up on the stand and they will be repulsed by brother Lee. Some may find sympathy for George while others will detest him as well. When they see the jailhouse tapes of him they will see kowtowing he is towards Casey and will not respect him in the least. So Casey’s dysfunctional family which she obviously runs and controls will have a negative impact on how the jury perceives her.

A jury will like Jose in my view who may very well be her only saving grace int he trial. No matter what you think of Jose and his lack of experience  and past behavior a jury will like him more than they like anyone else on Casey’s team.As they say in Portuguese , he is less worse.  A jury will be completely turned off by Cheney Mason if he keeps touching and whispering to Casey and is accepting of her flirtations. They will wonder what is going on between the two of them.

In contrast the jury will love Linda Drane Burdick’s professionalism and demeanor and will respect Jeff Ashton’s bold and direct and no nonsense approach.

Who is on that jury is the key to what will happen to Casey Anthony. Friday Judge Belvin Perry said that he would keep the cameras on when they have jury selection. That will be awesome to see. I can’t wait to watch it.

Having just done jury selection on a capital case in Orlando, Florida last month, since I chose a jury of six plus one alternate. It may be different in Casey’s case but I don’t think so. Everything will rest on what they think and feel about Casey and what they think she did or didn’t do to Caylee.

A defendant may have all the evidence working in their favor and the best attorneys, but if the jury can’t stand you or doesn’t believe you, you can forget about it. To many jurors, fact that Casey lied to law enforcement means that she could easily lie about what she did or did not do to innocent little Caylee.

WHAT ACCIDENT????

When Cindy said that Caylee was not Casey’s  child, she belonged to all of them it spoke volumes to Then when she denied that Casey had a problem with her she was either in denial or lied .  Of course Casey had a problem with her or she wouldn’t be in the predicament she is in. Cindy told Casey that she wad going to throw her out and keep Caylee so Casey left with Caylee. The reason why Casey did whatever she did to Caylee was because of Cindy and their relationship in my view. Cindy was large and in charge and tried to take over. Casey resented it and in her sociopathic passive aggressive way eliminated Caylee from the picture.

‘I don’t buy that it was an accident as some of the focus group attendees said in the 48  Hours piece. Even if Casey gave Caylee chloroform to put her to sleep and then  put the duct tape over Caylees mouth to keep her quiet in case she woke up in the trunk where she was placed so that Casey could party this is not an accident. Even if  Casey was too drunk and accidentally placed the duct tape over Casey’s nose and mouth  instead of  just her mouth, that was not an accident in my view. Even if Caylee drowned in the pool, that was not an accident in my view. How can a child drown in a pool if a parent is there holding the child? If Casey was on her cell phone and left Caylee in the pool by herself that is not an accident. Subconsciously Casey wanted Caylee gone and out of her life and proof of that was her partying when Caylee went missing.

There is no excuse or explanation one could manufacture for that to happen. Deep down Casey resented Caylee and any “accident” was done subconsciously  on purpose in my view. I hope that the prosecution will probe into this so that no juror comes away thinking that Caylee’s death was an accident. When an accident happens there is an immediacy of dealing with it- not 31 days later. And her fear of her mother is bogus. As a jury will see from the jailhouse tapes,  Casey  ran both her father and her mother!  The only “accident” was that Casey considered Caylee a huge  accident when she became  pregnant with Caylee and lost her social freedom. Tragically,  Casey made Caylee pay for that” accident”  with her life.

Autopsy Photos of Caylee Marie May Shock Cindy, George, and Lee Anthony Into Reality So They Stop Defending Casey

Tuesday, April 12th, 2011

The prosecution filed a motion to include images of babay  Caylee Anthony’s remains. When a jury sees them, Casey will no  be sentenced to death in my view (unless of course there is a someone on the jury who will be the lone holdout because they have a crush on her).

That is the only thing that concerns me  and makes me wish I was doing jury selection for the prosecution.

If Cindy sees the autopsy photos of Caylee,  perhaps she will finally   stop saying that she thinks Caylee is still alive.

These  photos will give her the reality check she so desperately needs. They may  help her to get in touch with her real feelings towards Casey and out of denial.

She will no doubt hate Casey for getting back at her by killing Caylee so that she couldn’t have Caylee.  While Cindy  should hate herself for pushing her aberrant daughter over the edge by saying I will throw you out and keep Caylee, she is too narcissistic and controlling and self-absorbed to be that introspective in my view.

Like Casey, Cindy  has shown that she loves all the media attention and has tries to manipulate it to her end since day one.

The photos may  also  shock her into reality in terms of her  being such a “stubborn mule”  and not trying to locate her allegedly beloved Caylee.   Cindy  had never been away from Cayleee for that long- 31 days But to show Casey a thing or two, Cindy’s  pride got in the way. She refused to try and contact Casey,  thinking that it is Casey who needs to come crawling back home and apologize , not Cindy.

Well Casey did come back home  31 days later,  without Caylee. If Cindy had not been so stuck on being prideful and stubborn,  perhaps Caylee might still be alive.

George needs to see the autopsy photos to stop defending Casey and realize what a she devil he spawned or created, especially if he sexually molested her, as Casey  has repeatedly claimed.

If he sexually molested Casey or Caylee for that matter,  he needs to rot in hell. He needs to never show his face in the courtroom unless he is the defendant for his alleged egregious acts.

If  he did not molest Casey as she said, then these photos will shake him up so much that he will see how evil Casey is and how she has no soul.

He will see that she coldly killed her baby and coldly accused her own father of molesting her, especially  if it is not true. That is when he should never show up in court except to on the  last day to hear the words” Guilty” and “Sentenced to Death by Lethal Injection or Electric Chair.

Whether or not he molested her, those explicit photos will shake him to the bone in terms of  how he non- parented Casey, and let her get away with so much. Casey’s words “Act like a father for the first time in your life” will resonate loudly when she sees those autopsy photos.

Lee needs to see the photos  as well. He needs to see what CMA, the sister he loves so much in every way did to an innocent soul. He needs to get that he can’t play two sides of the fence and coöperate with Law enforcement for his own selfish needs to become a PI and then sit in a courtroom and inappropriately mouth the words” I love you, like some star-crossed lover.

If he  actually molested Casey  as she said  on numerous occasions. he needs to see how his actions contributed to her deviant actions.

And of course Casey needs to see it. These images need to be etched into her brain forever. She needs to see what she  allegedly did  to this innocent baby. She needs to see the actual fruits of her labor.

When Casey  last saw Caylee, Caylee has skin on her body and was a whole intact person. She also last saw Caylee with duct tape over her nose and mouth.

Now Casey can see how Caylee’s body morphed into bones and a skull with hair with the  duct tape over what used to be Caylee’s nose and mouth, but are now only bones.

Of course Casey  will cry,  but not for Caylee.  Instead, she will cry because she got busted and is now in big trouble. She will cry because of what Caylee did to her by messing up her life and being born in the first place.

Caylee will never accept responsibility for Caylee’s death. A sociopath she can only blame others and can never look at themselves. They are not capable of feeling remorse or guilt.

We will no doubt see some crocodile tears or a look of anger when Casey views Caylee’s remains. But rest assured that we will never see remorse, or genuine emotion for anyone other than Casey.
