As you well know from reading my blogs, I cannot stand spin or hype or manipulating the public. I don’t like it when the public is fed lies or when people are easily given a free ride when they don’t deserve it. In essence, I like the truth! Most of all I like it when people who work very hard for what they do are justly rewarded for their efforts.

Having worked with so many celebrities and extremely talented people over the years in helping them hone their communication and body language skills for so many film and television roles,  I definitely know who has IT and who doesn’t. I know how hard these people work at making themselves the best they can be. I have seen their considerable efforts and what it takes to make it first hand.

That is why it disturbs me greatly when I see people who have repeatedly been “abusive and entitled ” like Kate Gosselin, “alleged White House gate crashing” Michaele Salahi, “jailed burglar of the wealthy” Alexis Neiers, and “ don’t call me a whore or a hooker even though I have repeated sex with married men or I will sue you”, Rachel Uchitel taking up space and getting rewarded for their bad behaviors with television shows and tons of air time.

IN TV, LOTS OF EYEBALLS TRANSLATE INTO  LOTS OF DOLLARS AND CENTS

In my view, these women have absolutely nothing to offer.  But television executives would disagree with me. To them, these women have a lot to offer- lots of eyeballs watching shows on which they appear . They don’t care if  they are hated by the public  or they  did or immoral or  illegal acts.

As long as people are watching them on TV and ratings are high , they are thrilled. When ratings are high that means the networks  can charge a lot of money to advertisers to buy commercials. That translates into more money for the networks. That is called the bottom line.

So as long as the public watches people they love to hate, the longer they will stay in the public eye. It’s a sad commentary but unfortunately, it is true.

THE UNTALENTED ,ENTITLED,  AND ITLESS KATE GOSSELIN

When networks see that they have a cash cow, like they did with Kate Gosselin, they will do anything and everything to make sure that they succeed no matter how ITLESS they are. They will re make their physical image andshow them off  on every major show like Dancing With the Stars so they will get more popular and so that even more people will watch them on their network.

That is exactly what they did with Kate Gosselin. It doesn’t matter if you or I believe that Kate has absolutely nothing to offer. It doesn’t matter whether  you or I think she has some relevant  issues in her psyche that causes her to be so  angry, arrogant, and self centered to name a few. She will continue to alienate people and she will continue to do it over the airwaves. She was even invited to do Sara Palin’s new show in order to boost the ratings.

Like it or not, this woman is here to stay with not one, but with  two television shows and a myriad of appearances and television specials. This former nurse  simply took fertililty pills and got pregnant with septuplets, six of whom survived in her womb.   Luckily a guardian angel- TLC  found her. They helped her out and gave her a show, so she could feed her family. We,  in turn got to watch cute babies develop. At first, people watched the show because of the cute kids. But then, even more people watched  the show  to see how awful Kate was and how terribly she abused  husband Jon.

Then the fiasco between them exploded into a full blown media He Say She Says war, which made even more people watch their show.  TLC was thrilled as people took sides and waited to see the “bad car accident”.

Then Jon pulled the plug, not allowing the kids on the air. He went even further to try and destroy TLC’s ,by trashing Kate so badly and causing so much havoc in the press with his multiple relationship scandals.

This pissed off TLC to no end and they were not going to allow him to  destroy their money making TV venture.  So they showed him a thing or two. They not only gave Kate her own show, but a second show to boot. In addition they slapped him with a lawsuit and silenced him.

They took this “itless” untalented, nasty, self absorbed woman- Kate Gosselin  and tried to make her into a sympathetic  victim by having her cry all over the airwaves.  (And please don’t waste your time calling me a Kate hater. Kate is not on my hate list. That list is reserved for people like Hitler and Stalin, terrorists, child molesters, and for those who do word for word copying of my work, among others I won’t bother to name ).

I am simply reporting behaviors I have observed. If you can’t see it them as well, let me suggest you take off your blinders and open your eyes and watch a re-run of  her egregious behavior on DWTS when she  fights with her esteemed dance teacher).

TLC  gave her opportunity after opportunity and she of course took it. They were on full throttle and determined to make Kate not only a  household name, but a  house-gold  name earning scores of money for them .

They redid her image from the frumpy housewife to the glamourous beauty, had her co- host the View where millions would see her, appear on late night shows, and on TV specials where they even had her and had her cry on cue to make her appear more sympathetic.  But when they  put her on DWTS they really saw how powerful their brand was.

Her fight with her teacher Tony Dovolani which showed her disrespect and arrogance and entitlement,  garnered the highest ratings.  People who loved her, watched  to see her succeed, while people who hated her watched to see her fail. When she was voted off the show, DWTS ratings plunged and TLC knew they hit the jackpot with Kate.

They even gave her another show and trotted her out there with more books so more people could connect to her. They threw her back on the View and Kimmel Live and everywhere else. TLC created this “itless”  who some consider to be a “monster,” out of spite  for Jon and they succeeded.

So like or not, love her or hate her, she is here to stay no matter how many latters you write or emails you send. The more people hate her the more they will watch her and the higher her ratings will be.

I only hope she remakes her insides as she did with her outsides for the sake of her kids. While both Kate and her “itlessness” bore me, my only concern is for her kids and how they will turn out. I clearly didn’t like it when I saw the videotape of the kids crying in terror when it came time to go back home to Kate after an outing with Jon. While we don’t know the exact reason the childen are terrified, if they are terrified  because of Kate’s behavior towards them, maybe TLC should use some of the money they earned because of  Kate’s infamy and spring for some therapy for both Kate and those kids.

ITLESS MICHAELE SALAHI-  INFAMY AND MORE TV TIME

To me Kate isn’t as disturbing as Michaele Salahi. I find this woman repulsive in every way from her arrogant tone of voice to her pleadingthe fifth and not being forthright. What did she have to hide?  I am even more repulsed that attorney Lisa Bloom for whom I once had a great deal of respect  has stooped so low as to represent this “itless creature. It was bad enough that Lisa represented one of the most TOXIC MEN Michael Lohan who tapes personal conversations with others and sells them to internet venues and who recenty sold a nude photo of his ex fiance sleeping  to one of the internet tabloid outlets. But now, she has gone further in collecting clients the public  loves to hate. I guess she is following in the footsteps of her mother Gloria Allred  who takes on the infamous like Rachel Uchitel and a myriad of  Tiger’s sex partners.

If Michaele had an invitation to the White  House  party,  like she said she did, why didn’t she show it to everyone?  On the Today Show she told how she couldn’t say anything at the hearing  because of Bravo. That may or may or may  not be the case. Did the Salahi’s have an invitation that Bravo gave to her? If so, why didn’t she just admit to that early on ? Or was she so entitled that she told Bravo that it was no biggie- that she could always get into top of the line events with or without an invite.

Now she and or her husband created a huge fiasco saying that Whoopi Goldberg hit her when the video clearly shows that Whoopi was  only trying to get her attention and merely re directing the topic of conversation. There is no question in my mind that  she knew Whoppi meant no malice. Why would Whoopi risk her reputation and position at the View to hit a guest? It made no sense other than Michaele and her, whom  I perceive as TOXIC husband Tareq,  trying to get more media time.

When her, whom I perceive as  TOXIC  husband Tareq got into the fray and upset Whoopi with accusations she hit his wife and started taking photos of her, I knew then and there what he was trying to do. He was trying to parlay this non incident  into more infamy for his  wife, whom people on her own show found TOXIC .

One thing is for sure, people who would never think of tuning into the DC Housewives, on Bravo will do so now. Because of this incident, Michaele will always  be assured her spot on the show as the villain. I am sure that Bravo is thrilled to no end that this fiasco occurred. Remember the bottom line is more eyeballs equal more revenue for the network.

So the this stylishly dressed , skeletal , very masculine voiced, opportunist who put national security in jeopardy by getting that close to the President of the United States without proper security clearance. is here to stay- at least on Bravo, Many would agree with Sheei Shephard on the View that she should have been put in jail rather than on a televison show.

ITLESS RACHEL UCHITEL- “CANT SAY “YOU KA TELL SHE’S A HOOKER” EVEN THOUGH SHE HAS BEEN A SEX MATE TO MANY MARRIED MEN,  OR YOU WILL BE SUED”

Then there is Rachel Uchitel. Attorney Lisa Bloom’s mother Gloria Allred was able to secure millions upon millions of dollars for Rachel. She also made it clear that no one could call Rachel a “hooker” or a “whore”, even though many may  look at her in those terms and will always look at her in those terms.

In fact she threatened the View and Joy Behar with a lawsuit if Joy didn’t apologize for the plays he made on Rachel’s last name , “Uchitel” by saying “You ka tell she’s a hooker.” Another comedian even got sued for calling her a “whore.” However, doesn’t seem too worried about the suit, Maybe he has information which can prove she is or  has been a whore.  If he does, then  you can then call her a “whore” without being sued.  To me a whore is someone who exploits others for money. I think getting an alleged  10 million dollars to  buy her silence and not speak publicly about Tiger Woods would fall into that category.

So the message was sent  out not to defame her. But what Rachel doesn’t get is that she defamed herself by having sex with at least two married men of whom we know.

Rachel  allegedly helped break up a marriage and she got rewarded for this not only with what is an alleged 10 million dollars, but with television time. Xtra gave her a TV gig as a reporter, even though she did an awful job in my view and was the ultimate in being ITLESS.

She  was unbearable to listen to with  her hyper-nasal monotone voice and even more unbearable to  watch with  her expressionless monotone face as she constantly brushed her hair back and pursed her over glossed overly inflated lips. Yet, she no doubt received a hefty compensation to do this even though there were so many more qualified,  beautiful, and talented young women who were  journalism graduates to boot, to do this job.

Rachel is no doubt gearing up for an Image Rehab. That is why she agreed to appear on Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew.  She has no doubt, realized that you can have ten million dollars but if people still  view her as a skank and a whore, homewrecker or a hooker, or a low life,  even if you can’t say it publicaly,it doesn’t matter.If people look at you like  alow life and have no respect for you and disdain for you, all the money in the world doesn’t matter as you are  vilified forever and considered a  joke.

So she went into Celebrity Rehab, and together with Dr Drew they came up with some type of addiction for her to use as an excuse for her egregious past behavior. Maybe it will be an addiction to  pills  or an addiction to her relationship with her father in  looking for that father image in married men , or maybe it will be due to an addiction to money and rich and famous men who take care of her financially. I guess we will have to watch the show to find out the big reveal of “ Rachel’s Addiction.”

Even if she is addicted to whatever, it is still no excuse for what she did. Lots of people are addicted to something and don’t act like she did.  People resent her even  more for her capitalizing on the tragedy and earning what is said to be ten million dollars in exchange for her silence towards Tiger Woods.

After watching her body language and how she comes across in interviews, she is not a likeable character and no coaching int he world can ever make her likeable.  There is something in her character that pops out on screen- the entitlement, arrogance, and hardness. When she spoke of being the Original” Mean Girl” in an Xtra interview she had with Mario Lopez, it  said all we needed to know about Rachel. There still appears to be a mean edge about her. It seems to be who she is based on all of the interviwes we have seen of her thus far.

Even if she and Tiger happen to reconnect and he marries her, as the tabloids have recently reported, she will always be looked at by the public with an evil eye. She will always be seen as the other woman and a homewrecker.

The villain label fits her and I don’t believe she can ever shake it no matter what she does. I am sure that this label will be cemented forever, as we watch her clash with super model Janice Dickenson who will also appears on the  Celebrity Rehab show . No matter what you say about Janice, she has earned her stripes. She pioneered her field and worked really hard for everything she has in life. Unlike, Rachel, no one gave Janice a free financial ride.

FORMER PROSTITUTE ASHLEY DUPREEE AND JAILED THEIF ALEXIS NEIRES –HORRIBLE MESSAGE TO YOUNG GIRLS

What bothers me is the message that this is being giving to out young girls by rewarding egregious behavior. It’s not only Rachel Uchitel ( whom you can;t call a hooker or a whore or she will sue you) who got a lot of good things in life for doing bad things. It is other women who were prostitutes  for madams,  like Ashley Dupree, who got rewarded with air time and her own advice column in a New York newspaper.

Instead of giving such a gig to a qualified relationship expert, the message is that just by having sex with famous men, you too can get you rich and famous, especially of you get caught.

The message is also that even if you burglarize things from the rich and famous like 18 year old Alexis Neires did, you can get rich and famous as well. If you happen to get caught, you can get even richer and more famous and even get your own TV show like Alexis did on the E! channel with her show “Pretty Wild TV!”.

IF THERE ARE NOT ENOUGH EYEBALLS THERE IS NOT ENOUGH MONEY AND NO SHOW

The whole thing absolutely repulses me. Someone needs to put their foot down and say” enough is enough “ when it comes to rewarding people for egregious behavior. While someone definitely needs to set these standards, perhaps  that “someone” is us.

Remember- eyeballs translate into money for the networks. The less eyeballs, the less money. So keep that in mind the next time you are curious about watching  Kate Gosselin, Rachel Uchitel, Michaele Salahi, or Alexis Neiers. www.drlillianglass.com

CONTROVERSY OVER OBAMA APPEARING ON THE VIEW

Before President Obama went on the View there was a lot of controversy over whether or not he  should have appeared on the View. Hard core journalists said no way while White House advisors thought this was a great way of reaching women voters.

As it turned out the hard core journalists were right. It was a very  bad idea.  The questions he was asked about Snooki did not put him in a good light . Besides making him look like he lied  (which he did not based on his body language analysis) it  may have uncovered another can of worms with regard to his speech making and teleprompter reading. The  President did not have to endure the discomfort level  which resulted in a  flash of anger after  he was inappropriately  asked about Mel Gibson.

WAS OBAMA LYING?

The inconsistency  of saying he never heard of Snooki when he mentioned Snooki’s name  in a White House Press Correspondents Dinner  three months earlier made him look like a liar.

The Drudge Report  headline even read Obama lies about not knowing who Snooki is?

No one likes a liar,especially in their President or world leader. It diminishes the public trust.

Look at what happened to other President’s who lied. Richard Nixon was one of the most detested Presidents after he had the audacity to tell the world “I am not a crook” when that was exactly what he was.

President Clinton lost even more respect for looking directly into the television camera lens and lying that he did not have an affair with that woman- Ms. Lewinsky when in fact, he did.

On the other hand, we all know what happened to our first President George Washington who said ”I cannot tell a lie.” His inspirational story of being honest and admitting he chopped down the cherry tree is a large part of our Americana.

The moral of this story is that we love President who tell us the truth and don’t love those who lie.

OBAMA DID NOT TELL A LIE WHEN IT CAME TO NOT KNOWING SNOOKI

After careful analysis of Obama’s  body language, I do not believe that the President lied.

Instead, he played along with the Q and A that Joy Behar was throwing at him. After she asked if  Snookie should run for mayor of Waisilla and Obama heard the audience roar of laughter, he realized that in order to be likeable and affable, it was a cue for  him to go along with the joke. He actually  didn’t even realize  what he was laughing at. He simply knew that the audience thought something as funny, so he went along with it as a way of showing his good nature.

Body language wise, he  really got into it . He even went as   far as tossing his head back and giving  closed eyed  laugh. A closed eye laugh is significant as it not always a genuine laugh.

Suddenly his facial expression changed from over the top open mouth laughter to a less  laughing mouth  as he leans over to Joy and even lens his shoulder into her and  says  “ I don’t know who Snooki is.” When some one leans into you they tend to be more serious and candid with you and are often telling you the truth, This is even more true if the shoulder is directed towards you as you see in the above photo.

Obama’s comment  got an even bigger laugh as the audience construed that he was kidding. They probably expected him to add and “I’m just kidding.”   But he wasn’t kidding. His facial expression showed that he was a bit more serious. He really didn’t know who Snooki was based on his facial expression as well as the slight pitch break in his voice pattern. That showed that he was indeed telling the truth.

OBAMA’S BODY LANGUAGE REVEALED HE DIDN’T KNOW WHO SNOOKI WAS THREE MONTHS EARLIER

When Obama gave his speech at the White House Press Correspondent’s dinner three month earlier in May 2010, he  didn’t know who Snooki was then either.

Here you see the President looking down as he read from his notes   which  one of his speech writers obviously wrote for him. Without any facial animation, smiling, or vocalizations, which one would expect if they were in on the joke and really knew the characters about whom they were joking, Obama blandly reads   ”The following individuals shall be excluded from the indoor tanning tax within this bill: Snooki, JWOWW, The Situation and House minority leader John Boehner.’“

You can hear a slight chuckle in his voice when he says  the name John Boehner, whom he obviously knows. But when  he read the names  Snooki, JWOWW and the Situation, he is expressionless and  chuckleless.

When he heard the audience laugh, he merely picked up his head and looked at the audience blankly, without a smile which further indicated that he had no clue  about those who’s names he just read from his notes. If he knew who they were you would have seen a slight smile or even a big smile, depending on what he thought about the Jersey Shore characters.

So when we heard him on the View with his pitched raised saying  “I have to admit I don’t know who Snooki is
with a less hearty smile as he leans in towards Joy with and his head slightly tilted, this is a body language tell of  uncertainly. Obama is really uncertain  about who or what Snooki is. He is telling the truth.

DOES OBAMA  KNOW ALL THAT CONTAINED IN HIS SPEECHES OR DOES HE MOUTH EMPTY WORDS?

So now that we know he wasn’t lying. But there is   another problem that has surfaced. The inconsistency made him look  bad in another way.

For some, it made him look puppet-like who was just mouthing words others wrote for him while he casually reads those words off of a teleprompter.

If he has no clue about who  Snooki is and yet can make a  joke about her in a speech written by a nameless  speechwriter, several question may  arise for many.  The questions are “What  other things has Obama said  in his speeches about which he has no clue ? Does he really know everything he reads off the teleprompter or are they just empty words?

When he gave the speech about the oil crisis which  many felt was too little too late,  he seemed to just be reading the words off of a screen. They seemed empty and emotionless. In fact he got a lot of flak for his lack of emotion and flat affect.

His reaction was inappropriate considering the crisis situation. Even his staunchest supporters like Spike Lee spoke up and encouraged him to “go off”  and show people that he was upset as they were about the situation.

After the revelation that Obama may not know what is contained in all of his speeches, it may make a lot of people question rif he is simply reading words. That certainly is not confidence building . One wants their leader to really know what is going on in every Situation ( no pun intended) , especially if they are relaying information to their citizens.

Whether it is about Snooki or the Sitiuation, the oil spill, Iran, or Afghanistan, we need to know that the President thoroughly knows every topic and every player whenever he speaks to the public.

BAD IDEA TO APPEAR ON A LIVE SHOW WHERE HE WAS ASKED ABOUT MEL GIBSON

The  Snooki embarrassment which made him look bad wasn’t the only negative thing that  came from his horrible decision to have the President  appear on the View.

His advisors needed to make sure what questions would be asked ahead of time. They need to let the  producers of the View now that there were certain questions which were off limits like asking him about Mel Gibson.

I believe that it was completely inappropriate to ask a sitting President. President Obama thought that it was inappropriate as well , At first you could see his level of discomfort  with his lip licking and tongue biting. That meant he didn’t want to talk about it. It wasn’t his place  and he know it.

But Joy pursued it so he felt stuck between a rock and a hard place and he was getting angry. He turned his head to th direction of Barbara Walters for help. But surprisingly she did not intercede.

As soon as he realized that he ws on his own, a flash on anger appeared on his face and rightfully so.

Immediately fun time  and trying to be agreeable, likeable and affable was over for him and he was mad that he was injected into this horrible fiasco concerning Mel.  The level of discomfort clearly continued in the tension exhibited throughout  the President’s  body language.

I give Obama a lot of points for his quick minded thinking as he attempted to untangle himself from the uncomfortable experience. With a serious face, he said how he had not seen a lot of Mel Gibson movies lately. He tried  graciously to defuse the situation by going off topic on to a tangent  by bringing up Mel’s movies and then with a tinge of humor adding “Ask me about Afghanistan.” It  clearly showed  his skills in diplomacy.

THE GOOD NEWS ABOUT HIS SHOW APPEARANCE

Besides showing how graciously the President took control to thwart an ungracious topic like Mel Gibson, the good news about the President’s appearance on the show was that he did look more relaxed and less robotic than we usually see him.

He looked like the warm likeable guy everyone feel in love with before the election. He seemed easy going and very genuine.

But he should have never been put into a situation where he was asked inappropriate and embarrassing questions that he had no business answering like the Mel Gibson issue. I am sure that if he ever does the View again or anything like it, all questions will be screened ahead of time. After all, as a politician, why voluntarily put yourself in a position to go on television if you don’t come away looking and sounding good and having more people respect  you than they did before? www.drlillianglass. com

 

 When I appeared on the Insider on CBS the other  night, I made the comment  “thank goodness this tirade was done over the phone because if Mel was in the same room as Oksana, he could have hit her.”  But after listening to the latest tape and analyzing all of the tapes thus far, I will take my statement a step further. Not only could Mel have hit Oksana, he could have easily murdered her!

There is now a lot of controversy over whether or not her above photo with broken veneers is retouched or tampered with. All I can say is that if you look at her eyes in the photo they have NOT been tampered with. They are puffy and red. Those are the eyes of a woman who  looks like they have been doing  a lot  crying .

Whether he hit her on the temple and the blow created   a chain reaction that caused damage to the teeth,as her dentist says,  the bottom line as we call heard on the tape, is that Mel admitted “ she deserved it.”

MEL’S VERBAL RAGE AND VERBAL ABUSE WERE NOT DOCTORED!

No one can deny the amount of rage and verbal violence that came out of Mel’s lips. We all heard it! Even if the tape was edited and doctored as some have reported, there is no way that his rage and verbal abuse was doctored.

Whether she stimulated or “egged him on” as people have commented,  there is still no excuse for Mel’s out of control behavior. When someone makes you that angry to the point that we have seen  Mel’s anger escalate,  you need to leave immediately. Get away from the  person , make a legal arrangement to see you child, and never look back at the relationship!

I am not definately  blaming the victim. Any relationship involves two people. I say the same to Oksana as I say to Mel. If she heard his rage escalate to the point that it did, she needed to have left him long ag. She needed to have hired an attorney and needed to have never looked back.

WHY ABUSED WOMEN DO NOT LEAVE RIGHT AWAY

 But unfortunately for Oksana, like so many abused women, most  do not leave right away. They stay and stay and stay, hoping things will change for the better and that things will work out. Studies show that it often takes an abused woman 7 to 11 times of breaking off and coming back to the  abusive relationship before she is out for good.

So the lame excuse that Mel’s camp gave that Oksana went away with him in January doesn’t fly. Just because she went back to Me after n abusive battle,  does not necessarily mean that things were fine and dandy. It means that she was doing what abused women do, especially ones with children. She was trying to make things work between them.  

MEL A CLASSIC ABUSER IN THE CYCLE OF VIOLENCE

When one looks at the Cycle of Violence common to abused women,  Mel Gibson, appears to fit the classic picture of an abuser to a tee. That picture of an abuser often ends in such physical violence that it can cost a woman her life.  Oksana could have easily been one more statistic to the millions of women murdered at the hands of a spouse, lover, boyfriend, or companion.

The name calling (cunt, bitch, whore), the  violent yelling and animal-like grunting and heavy audible respiratory patterns, the irrational comments, exaggerated claims and blame ( that he has no money- none  of the 900 million  dollars he allegedly has,  because he spent it all on her)  pushing, the hitting(allegedly damaging her teeth), lack of empathy (telling her she deserved it when she complained of his violence) the degrading control (demanding oral sex from her even though they were in conflict) life endangering threats (to burn the house down and to hit her head with a bat) are only a step away from killing a person.

If you think this seems far fetched, think again. This is EXACTLY what happened to Nicole Brown Simpson. This is EXACTLY what happened to millions of women who die each year at the hands of men they are either living with or married to. This is EXACTLY what happens to women all over the world regardless of race, religion,  culture, ethnic background, financial status, occupation, or physical appearance. 

WHO ARE THE ABUSERS WHO CAN KILL?

Anyone who exhibits the patterns that Mel Gibson exhibited can kill!  It doesn’t matter how rich or famous they are, if they have displayed the patterns that Mel displayed, they can definitely kill. Now I am not accusing Mel of being a murderer, but if someone is that consistently enraged and out of control  as we have heard Mel to be, then anything is possible.

He may be so angry that he could  strike a blow, hitting her in the head, causing  a subdural hematoma  where she would bleed into her brain, thus tragically ending her life. 

The verbally violent  tapes we have heard are not of just one conversation. They are of many conversations he had over time with Oksana. The red flag here is that Mel does not change his violent tone during any of the many different conversations we have heard.

 There is no point where his anger and rage is diffused. It is consistent and whenever you hear consistent rage like this that escalates, it indicates that danger is imminent.

Men who are control freaks, silent but deadly erupting volcanos, arrogant condescending know it alls often turn into both emotional and physical abusers.

WHY HOLLYWOOD IS SO QUIET ABOUT MEL?

One of the things that you are not hearing in the media is other celebrities speaking out against Mel with the exception of Barbara Walters, Joan Rivers and Joy Behar. They made is cler that Mel is not welocm on their shows.

The only ones who have spoken out in favor of Mel is Mickey Rourke and Whoppie Goldberg who is a friend of Mel’s. Her sticking up for him got her in a lot of hot water. Suddenly she became front page news as someone who stuck up for an abuser. While controversey may draw attention to Whoopie and the View and keep the show int he news, most performers don’t want to be associated with that type of news.

That is why most are steering clear of the Mel controversey. They don’t want the stink of Mel on them. They also know well enough that in Hollywood, anything can happen. Today Mel may be the biggest villan but tomorrow, the tide may turn. So that is why no one will stick their neck out.

Also Mel’s money makes him one of the most powerful people in Hollywood who with his alleged 900 million dollars can finance his own movie projects that would employ a lot of people and mean jobs for .  He could be behind the scenes as a director and producer so no one wants to make waves.

If they are forced to speak of him as James Brolin was on the Joy Behar Show, he remarked thaathe wanted to hug Mel who may have been dealing with a lot of childhood deamons to make him so angry. 

Personally, I think his career will take a huge hit. Becuase no matter how you spin it, we all  heard the verbally violent vitriol and that is now etched into our brain forever.  Even if he didn’t physically hit Oksana, he hit her verbally and he hit the baby verbally. Horrible words and emotional beatings are  are often more damaging than the physical beatings. Yelling at a mother with that serverity while she is holding an innocent fragile baby and emotionally frightening abd upsetting the baby is child abuse in my view. 

There is no more spin agent Ed Limato to help Mel out fo this mess. Personally I am boycotting any movie or project in which Mel gets involved. I have no tolerance for TOXIC PEOPLE who are  abusers (physical or emotional)  or racists who call people the N word or say abusive things about  Mexicans or Jews. That means you- Mel Gibson. www.drlillianglass.com
